Are you sure you can't edit the control mapping in Android builds ? It would surprise me...

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Two quick questions. Does it seem normal that MHP3rd runs worse than MHFU on a Google Nexus 7" tablet? My son has both on there running the newest PPSSPP 1.01. I am using the NON-HD version in hopes that it would run a little better than the HD version, but the performance difference really isn't all that much. Is there something I'm doing wrong? In the non HD version town is still a huge performance drop compared to quests. Should I try going back to an older build of PPSSPP?

2nd question. I thought I would try it just for fun, and it worked. I can run the HD version on my PC and host a server and my son can join me running the non HD version from his tablet. This shouldn't cause any issue right? I might go back to the non HD version anyway just because I really can't see a difference in the game anyway. Maybe it's because all of my graphics are cranked up. Opinions?

Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Non-HD emulated
Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to play the normal non-HD version of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd on a PC. I've tried the HD version but it keeps stuttering in framerate and is almost unplayable, this is even after tampering with the graphics options and setting them to the lowest possible. Freedom Unite runs perfectly fine on my rig so I was wondering if I could get the same results with the non-HD version of Portable 3rd.

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd Non-HD emulated
the original is playable but you need the decrypted data, this can be done with your psp or with a version of jpcsp unfortunatelly i dont know wich version is so you will need to try.
Regarding the hd if you have problems maybe you need a better gpu because you need a medium to high end gpu on some games, ppsspp works fine even on a 1 ghz dual core cpu but you need a powerfull gpu to play higher quality games and to play the monster hunter 3 portable hd you need at least a 1 gb gpu to play properlly

About first question. Yes. P3 is more demanding than FU. I could really feel the difference on my old PC. FU would run fine, but P3 would struggle in some areas.

About second. HD version is just that, bit better textures, and thats all. I personally never bothered with HD version, because if I crank up settings on normal version it looks really nice anyway.

Like the first post says. You will need decrypted PAUTH files to play it. And NonHD version runs slightly slower, but if you have no problems with MHFU, then it should run fine.

Everything is Hitsuzen!

No, the only english patch available is the one from the Mavericks guys their final release was the version 5.0 :
http://www.romhacking.net/translations/2043/

It translated every menus, materials, items and quest texts, basically everything that need to be translated to not miss any gameplay element is translated.

Only the few useless NPC (the ones in town that have no quests or items and have no purpose other than just being there) have some japanese text left.

MHP3RD Crashing, need help!
When I first started using PPSSPP I started playing MHP3RD and it was working fine for quite a few days, then suddenly the other day it started getting issues and kept crashing every now and again. It comes up with that my graphics card has restarted. I use an ATI graphics card and I have read that there is a few issues with it, however I've tried the fixes and nothing has helped, I cannot update my driver as it is updated to the latest it can find.

My specs are:

Intel Core 2 Duo, 2.20 GHz
4GB Ram, 2.99 usable
32 bit operating system
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4500

Please send help if possible, I've attached a picture of the log below!

I'm not sure why my post was merged here... seeing as I most likely now will never get a reply to my issue.
