RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
What about to add scrolable or changable (user defined) frame skip so that user will try to set correct frame skip

It would be great if you could add support for the ipega bluetooth controller.

Here you can see an image with the mappings:

This isn't required.
As the CPU is the slowest component on Symbian and the GPU is quite powerful, frameskip is never used due to a lack of GPU power. Instead, it is used to recover frames aren't rendered due to VSync.
If I turn off VSync you'll see frameskip is almost useless on our devices.

Which one should I map it to? There seems to be four different configurations but they all seem a bit messed around.
Currently we have arrow keys for movement + a,z,s,x for buttons.

Also, what keys does your PS3 controller currently map to?

In the keyboard mode the directional pad works already, so maybe that would be a good option Wink

Thanks for looking into this

Ok, so your A, B, X Y buttons map to J, K, M I.
So I'll map:
J = cross
K = circle
M = square
I = triangle

One problem is that these are already used as a mapping for the analog joystick.

So until we get some UI for changing mappings this may be difficult.

How about I make a special build just for this controller?

Hi xsacha.
Talking about this kind of controller, i was playing using keyboard over otg, works great. But i tried my sixaxis/ps3 controller (otg and bluetooth), and another controller, and could not do my 701 to recognize them.
Do you know if there're some controller that can be used on belle, and if there're someone who have at least tried to make the sixaxis work on the belle, as it works on the others mobile OS?

Would be great xsacha, much appreciated.

I understand this would be for Android also, is that so?

No, I don't have the Android SDK so I can't compile for Android. You would need to do a similar thing.

This is just for Symbian. Here it is (for iPega bluetooth controller):
v0.7.1 iPega: http://www.mediafire.com/?1u346ykne6jbi3u

This game requires FastMem off I think. Did you try without FastMem?

i did
in 0.6.7 it does work if i turn fastmem off but in 0.7.1 it doesn't. it crashes after the level is loaded(everything is okay in main menu). turning off the fastmem doesn't help Sad

thanks Henrik for ppsspp and xsacha for porting it to symbian!

What settings are you using now? I can try and get them to max speed.
Buffered rendering off? Frameskip on?
