do i need tunngle at all?
do i need that tunngle at all to play online if i have external IP and i can change my MAC address at will and im able to host servers for minecraft cs or any other emulator without external software?
and so if use this tutorial http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=12714 but just skip that tunngle part and replace it with my external IP connection would it still work? or tunngle is must have to play online? RE: do i need tunngle at all?
No, you can using other VPN client, such as EVOLVE, hamachi, etc.
if you want play with someone on local LAN, you don't need any VPN client. you can also try coldbird server: http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=14264 |

But I don't, I don't have exernal IP, for me, port forwarding, coldbird or other pro-online server will not work, I must using VPN client. edit:If you want to play with cousin who live in other town, using VPN client is an easy way. |

RE: do i need tunngle at all?
different game using different port. my friends enable router DMZ, not forward any special port.
If external IP working, coldbird.net may also work, just ser pro.coldbird.net as PRO adhoc server IP address, you can play with other one on coldbird. That will be the easiest way to play online. |

RE: do i need tunngle at all?
The problem with port forwarding is that we don't know which ports we have to forward...
That's why VPN clients are a good solution to the problem ♦ Intel Core i7-6700HQ | 16 GB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M | Debian Testing ♦ Intel Core i7-2630QM | 4 GB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M | Debian Testing ♦ PSP-3004 | 6.60 PRO-C2 |

RE: do i need tunngle at all?
ok thanks guys for help and info
i googled for a way to check which ports are used for specific program and i found this way to be most effective 1st of all go to google and search for Color Console direct link is here http://www.softwareok.com/?Download=ColorConsole (i suggest u download portable version) we need this and not normal command prompt cause it have ctr + F (find) option now i found that if u input command netstat -bano yep there is space after netstat and now you hold ctrl and press F to trigger find window and u input programs name which you are looking for and there you have all stuff u need here is screenshot of how it looks http://i.imgur.com/FChU5hf.png even so i found a port just by launching ahdhocserver.exe but if any other port is needed by ppsspp i will find it by doing netstat -bano conmmand now i just gonna test with my cousin if it all works and share the results Try AntiMicro graphical program used to map keyboard keys and mouse controls to a gamepad/controller. http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=12513 or http://www.x360ce.com |
