RE: Final Fantasy Type-0
Hello, I'm having a problem with this game where, after finishing the first part of disc one, it would prompt me to start disc two, as it should. But when I try to restart the emulator and boot disc two, it's just a black screen. I try to push some buttons, and then eventually the load file screen comes up. So I load the file, but it's just more perpetual black screen. I think it has something to do with the disc files not being one complete ISO file. Can anyone explain to me how to merge the discs together so I can get the second disc started? And if that isn't the problem, could someone let me know what the problem is? I have very little knowledge of all that file/emulator stuff. Thanks in advance.
*EDIT* Nevermind, I figured out how to merge the two discs. But I have another problem. After all the cutscenes upon starting the second disc, when you first get to the school, I try to go through that door directly across from where you start and past the water fountain, but the game always slows down to a complete stop on the loading screen for the next area. The VPS slows to around 1-1.5, and the FPS goes down to a static 0.0 and stays there. If anyone could address this problem, it would be greatly appreciated. |

RE: Final Fantasy Type-0
mine have some problem though..
after 2 or 3 battle at the start of the game, i think there is a cutscene or something, and my ppsspp just hangs there and my RAM usage maxed out..normally its just 1.2/4.0GB..but at that time it was like 3.9/4.0GB any idea why?.. EDIT: sometime i waited for a few minutes and the game resumes, but not always though..it happen mostly when new enemy come out i think?..the ram usage keeps increasing.. |

RE: Final Fantasy Type-0
Just turn off texture scaling for those laggy moments with high memory usage, this game hates that feature;c.

RE: Final Fantasy Type-0
Will the PPSSPP ever fix the graphical bugs like the stick figure shadows or some of the UI hints being black boxes when displayed on the screen?

RE: Final Fantasy Type-0
Can I play Type-0 without merging the disc ISOs? If so, how? Just do what sabermoff did, save at the swap, close the emulator, and re-open with disc 2?

There's now swap disc support, just press ESC / back and choose Switch UMD... at the point.
