RE: WipEout Pulse
I'm guessing this is caused by trying to use a save created while that setting was off, or created on JPCSP.

RE: WipEout Pulse
@Developers.....
Do you think it would be possible to detect if the save is encrypted or not in the future. Or make it possible to save that particular condition as required for the game in question. Say in the .map file, add a extra variable (0=Decrypted, 1=Encrypted). So that the save routine knows what to do next time it saves or loads the save game. |

RE: WipEout Pulse
That would be great, Phoenix. I have a Vita with the WipEout PSP games, but I just prefer using my HTPC to play them, so swapping files back and forth has never been a concern for me. Whether the issue I had that initially made me start using an unencrypted save game was imagined or not (honestly I can't say now, I just remember having issues and I don't remember touching save encryption until encountering them), creating a check on load would prevent people like me wasting space in place of useful relevant commentary

RE: WipEout Pulse
Hey guys I'm new. I got this emulator (most recent version) for my ipod 4g (jailbreak for 6.1.5) and ran wipeout pulse pretty smoothly at a constant 50-60 fps with these settings:
Non buffering rendering Frameskip 4 Prevents fps from passing 60 ( checked box) Alternative speed - unlimited No mipmapping 1xpsp resolution Checked boxes hardware transform, vertex caches, and low quality s&b curves (speed up) Checked boxes disable alpha test and texture coord speedhack In System: fast memory checked. This was fastest in the time trial. Races were on the lower end of the speed spectrum but still not SUPER slow. What's the fastest this game can run on ANY apple device? Is it faster on the iPhone 4S and 5? Also, the wipeout pulse iso that I'm using is the Europe version. Does it really make a difference to use a USA iso instead? |

RE: WipEout Pulse
Still super slow even without buffer i think that sounds make it laggy would be nice to be playable since it's the only racing game that even with those lags runs better than any other racing.

RE: WipEout Pulse
Hi Vorgier - Wipeout pulse dlc's work if you place the dlc folder in memstick/psp/game folder as for wipeout pure you have to put dlc folders into memstick/psp/savedata folder it should give you extra tracks/ships/music i've only got the omega pack but works on wipeout pure uces00001.
specs: win xp 32bit service pack 3 nvidia GT630 2048mb ram graphics card, dual core 3.0GHz 2gb ram pc user |

I'm not getting the DLC content to work either. I get an error message "Unable to load the download pack PSP\GAME\UCES00465\PACK4.EDAT from Memory Stick Duo. This download pack will not be available during gameplay." I tried my DLC that I bought and I also downloaded from a torrent. Why does it work for some and not others?????? Very Frustrating!!!! P.S. Wipeout Pure No problems, it's pulse that giving me the grief. and yes I have the euro copies of both games. |

Got them working with the above post. Realized I was putting them in the wrong folder. Make sure the folder UCESXXXX is in memstick/PSP/GAME folder. Create the game folder if it isn't there. (mine wasn't) |

RE: WipEout Pulse
Anyone can tel me why i'm getting FPS drops in this game, from 60 to 30-35 FPS? Using v0.9.8-355-g36c7519 (64bit one) atm.
See my PC specs in my signature. PC Specs: GPU: AMD Radeon R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 (Sapphire Vapor-X) CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 3.9GHz (OC) RAM: 8GB DDR4 2400 MHz MB: ASRock AB350 Pro4 OS: Windows 10 PRO x64 |

I just tried out the first track with v0.9.8-356-g58038c0 , using the default racer in Single Player Mode and had no drops on my system in signature, besides the usual ones that happens when there are a lot of explosions and effects in the race, but those are very minor dips to 55 FPS. (Race Campaign -> Grid 1 -> Single Race (Moa Therma White) -> Assegai.) What was the last build without drops? It could be related to the texcache changes in the newest builds, but you have to bisect to be absolutely sure. IIRC, these games benefit from overclocking the emulated PSP, so try that first (System settings)

RE: WipEout Pulse
I can confirm that there is a very heavy framerate inconsistense in version 0.9.8 compared to 0.9.6 and also, I too have a problem with DLC not loading.
