RE: San Andreas (android)
I got the MOGA ACE but i use to have an ICONTROLPAD with my jailbroken iphone 5 and i prefer the ICONTROLPAD as it feels more comfortable and it allows to map your buttons unlike MOGA that relies on settings within the game( that aare non-existant sometimes)

Hey I was joking, it is possible, but it's kind of strange, theoretically emu should be slower. Аre you running 2.3? Crazy Taxi is also a dreamcast port, is it also slow? I tested both SCs, thus psp version is max 35fps on my phone (no fs), but it doesn't seem it uses all 60 fps (30fps I think), so with "timer hack" or changing cpu clock to ~30 it goes full speed, no frameskip required. Android version seems to be capped at 30fps also, menu or in-game (no wonder), so I can't get more fps than that. If it would be uncapped, I could compare these two versions, but I guess Android version would win all the same. Regarding GTA - GTA 3 and GTA VC run ~ at the same speed reasonably fast (20-40fps for me), and VC has lags when not in a vehicle, but they do have the same engine, so GTA SA should run fine if nothing special changes, as the graphics is simple Samsung Captivate, Android 2.3.5 SAUROM, Corn Kernel v701 Fly Evo Chic 3, Android 4.4.2 Stock, improved stock kernel |

4.1.1 .. Dual core 1ghz a5
adreno 203.. I know, I know lol im surprised that the emu runs this quick. Since they started introducin speed, the speed has drastically improved.. I agree a straight port should/is usually quicker but as soul caliber is optimized for high end devices and mine isn't, so runs slow for me. I hope they update the app.. although soul caliber on android is mission a mode. S TO DA G |

RE: San Andreas (android)
Perhaps android port uses only one core, but in order to gain ~30fps here, one must have minimum A8 -1200mhz, tried 1000mhz - got about 25 fps. So it could require ~2,4 dmips raw performance, so if they optimize it for dual cores you'll have - 3,14 dmips which is more than enough, but I can be wrong of course, there could be another factors affecting the performance.

RE: San Andreas (android)
So the best thing you can do is to find a kernel and do a live overclock or simple cpu overclock, I could advise you on the matter.
You could try lowering resolution of the phone, I know some apps, tried it myself. What about your other phones, "the Chinese one" (but your current is also chinese) and galaxy s scl they have better cpus The fastest is A57 but it's ARM v8 already : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ARM_cores Samsung Captivate, Android 2.3.5 SAUROM, Corn Kernel v701 Fly Evo Chic 3, Android 4.4.2 Stock, improved stock kernel |

RE: San Andreas (android)
Its OK man, I know how to do that.. only problem is my PC packed in not long ago so I'm unable to gain root access.
Afaik ascend y300 needs a PC, no other way to root unfortunately Thx though. btw, if you come across an alternative, I'm all ears lol.. Its extra unfortunate as I bet theirs loads of custom ROMs for this phone, being a very popular handset. S TO DA G |

RE: San Andreas (android)
Guys, what do you think about the experience of GTA games on mobile?
My opinion: The experience isn't the best, but I think is good when you can't play it on a PC or console, but I'm enjoying it, I did already play on PC, but I never done any missions, and now on my phone, I already done all main mission, now I need to buy the places and make its missions. RE: San Andreas (android)
Because i have a controller, its the best GTA experience for me. I love how these are full ports and not watered down like the psp versions(which is great btw) .This is the first time that we are gonna have san andreas on a portable device and its a complex game.So Android and iOS users get your controllers ready because the touch screen sucks ....

RE: San Andreas (android)
I also played GTA VC with controller, was nice. But the camera rotation by the right analog was very so much fast, was impossible to use. I want to use it again, but I don't remember the keys to map. Fortunately the GTA SA will support joystick by default, but I don't know if my controller will be compatible. The game could has a option to map the keys for any controller.

I used the USB/BT Joystick Center to map, and when we map any key to analog, the analog doesn't has a various sensibility level, works as a normal key, then when I rotated the camera, I rotated at max speed. I hope you can understand, because my english is very poor.
