Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops

I have a strange issue, probably due to the .cso file I'm running.

I downloaded a ripped version of MGSPO wich allegedly contains only italian language and weights 843MB.
When I load the game onto the emulator, it shows the memory card checking logo, then the konami logo, then the kojima logo and then cycles back to the konai logo and the kojima logo over and over again. I can't skip those and I can't play the game.

I'm using ppsspp 0.9.8, but I had the same issue with a previous release (0.8.something).

Any advice?
