Hi there,
I have 2 tips for you to try on Windows machines:

1).....Always use the 2 x screen size, for testing new games to see if they work or not, that way you have access to the menu bar at the top, where you can, stop the emulation, or reset it, or if none of that works, exit the emulator altogether, then when you are happy it works, then activate full screen mode (Alt-Enter).
2).....I see you are using the official release (0.9.8).
Have you tried the latest Beta build, which at time of writing this is: v0.9.8-651-g63da119.

You may find that the latest build has solved that problem your having, if not have you got FastMem turned on, un-tick that and try again.
