I've followed the instructions on the performance guide, and played around with some of the options that are variable depending on games, and while there was a slight increase in performance, it still didn't reach playable levels. Is there any other ways to make the game play, or am I stuck unless I change my graphics card? Yeah, if you've done everything I listed out the guide and you're still getting rubbish performance, I'm not sure what else you can do. You can't change your graphics card either since you're on a laptop. I'm quite perplexed, because your laptop isn't weak at all, and it should be able to handle this game with ease. That i3-2xxxM is a very decent CPU. Is your laptop plugged to the wall, and is it set to High Performance mode in the Power Options? You can easily see whether or not you're running at peak capacity by getting these two monitoring software for your CPU and GPU:- CPUz (to monitor your CPU speed):- http://www.cpuid.com/downloads/cpu-z/1.65-en.zip GPUz (to monitor your GPU usage and speed):- http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/225...-z-v0-7-2/ Something is not right here. Is this the only game that's showing poor performance for you?
