Snapdragon 810 low performance?

I have an lg g flex 2 and it runs well after modding, but gets very hot.
Ppsspp runs good when modding the thermal settings of the device so 1 big core always stays on and barely throttles and the gpu barely throttles.

the problem is, I have modded my M9 with improved thermal paste, and I have tried different thermal configurations, only 1 big cores active like you mentioned, but it still slows down. In an extreme situation I test the m9 with an ice cube behind it's back and i'm sure it's pretty cool yet the game is still running slow.

EDIT: It doesn't matter anymore, turns out the 810 and the 808 is a piece of crap, and 800 + 801 is way better for PPSSPP.
Traded my M9 for a xiaomi mi note and the game runs 60fps perfectly smooth now
