Te "lags" you are talking about is probably the 30 fps cap which looks jerky on a PC. Can be fixed with a 60 fps cheat, but that cheat hasn't been found yet. Guys here discovered such cheats for many games, but it looks like it's a bit harder to do with Monster Hunter series.
