Apparently, I tried to import a God Eater 2 save from a PSP-2000 that I've been playing into the PPSSPP.

However, God Eater 2 PPSSPP won't load the PSP save and would send me back to the main menu.

Is there anyway to fix this?

maybe you can get update files on net? (ex: get_updater_NPJH-50832 for God Eater 2) and update it with Iso Tool?

i never try before though Tongue if that still don't maybe you need real psp for update it XD
(backup you iso before doing anything lol experiment it yourself Tongue)

another annoying bug on GE2 is overbloom effect when buffered rendering is "ON" on latest ppspp build.
the bad thing is when buffered rendering is "OFF" to get rid of overbloom effect, then "post processing shader" will not work at all which is very important to give significant graphic quality.

so, I've tried many previous build and found "ppsspp-v0.9.5-276-gf29d9c0" is compatible with buffered rendering "ON" with less bloom occured.
Here is the SS I took with :
Buffered Rendering : ON
Post processing shader : FXAA+bloom+color (customizeable shader I got from customize shader thread)
Rendering Resolution : x5
Texture Scaling : x5

IMO, post processing shader (i.e. fxaa+bloom+natural color) is the most vital plugin for ppsspp Big Grin

Also, another problem needed to be fix; inability to import the God Eater 2 save from PSP to PPSSPP. I wouldn't want to replay first 20 hours of the game again on PPSSPP to catch up where I left off.

btw,just realize v0.9.5-276-gf29d9c0 still have problem with buffered rendering is "on", on snow stage you got this ghostly shadows bug..

ghost screen is only occur at snowy map.
unfortunately we can temporary fix it by disabling Buffered Rendering.

but, I think the other map is okay with BR is ON.
.let's hope for the devs team can fix this problem Smile

How do you guys update the ISO to play it on PPSSPP? I have a real
PSP and after updating on ISO TOOL I can play the game just fine on
my real PSP.

But when I try to play on PPSSPP I start a new game and after the first
cutscene I get a "PlayStation Network" pop up and PPSSPP crashes...

The update on the PPSSPP goes to "PSP > Game" right?

Neither the updated ISO or the vanilla ISO work, Both crash after the
first cutscene...

Also anyone found a fix to load your PSP game save on PPSSPP? Because
it's just sad if whe can't transfer saves bettween PPSSPP and the real PSP...

EDIT:
Just found an error in the log file... Maybe this is related to why
whe can't load the original PSP save data on PPSSPP...

On the save folder for GE2 "NPJH50832" There is no "DATA.RPD" file, Only
these files show in the save folder;

ICON0.PNG
PARAM.SFO
PIC1.PNG
SECURE.BIN

Also when you save in both PPSSPP and the real PSP the game does
not generate a "NPJH50832data" Folder for the save data as the
emulator claims, It just creates a "NPJH50832099c645531020001001"
folder containing your save data.

The last digit in the "NPJH50832099c645531020001001" folder changes
depending on the save slot your character is. 0 for slot 1, 1 for slot 2
and so on...

Anyways... I have attached my complete log file jus in case someone
who develops the PPSSPP emulator decides to fix the save data bug...
