Unable to load WipEout Pulse DLC on v0.9.1
I tried to dump Wipeout Pulse (EU) DLCs into the emulator, but it keeps reading:
"Unable to load the download pack PSP\GAME\UCES00465\PACK1.EDAT from Memory Stick Duo. This download pack will not be available during gameplay." The ISO and the DLC files match the region type I played on, and I use v0.9.1 because it's much more stable on my PC. Did this issus fixed in the later versions? v0.9.6 dosen't run smooth on mine. |

Wipeout android
Hello, I'm new to the forums and I've been reading around quite a bit. But I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for. To keep things concise I'm basically wondering if there's any way to get playable speeds in wipeout pulse (or pure) on a moto g. I'm asking because I can't seem to find a platform specific compatibility list, and after many searches all I get is mixed results. Some people seem to be able to run it fine even on older devices. I'm also wondering if the gold version of ppsspp would have better performance (it basically says "faster emulation" on the "why gold" page). So does anybody have a suitable config or will I simply have to wait for later versions? Thanks!

RE: WipEout Pulse [USA]
Merged.
You should take a look at this thread to improve performance You misunderstood about Gold version, it says : Quote:PPSSPP Gold is all the PSP emulation goodness of the free versionIt means that the Gold version is exactly the same as the free version, it's just a way to donate money The "faster emulation" thing you saw is in the following sentence : Quote:Faster emulation and more platforms than any other PSP emuIt means that PPSSPP is the fastest PSP emulator ♦ Intel Core i7-6700HQ | 16 GB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M | Debian Testing ♦ Intel Core i7-2630QM | 4 GB RAM | NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M | Debian Testing ♦ PSP-3004 | 6.60 PRO-C2 |

RE: WipEout Pulse [USA]
Thanks for replying. I've tried some settings but no dice (runs slowly), I was hoping to get some feedback from people who got it working at playable speeds (if any) with the latest android version (of ppsspp), ideally on similar hardware:
Chipset: Qualcomm MSM8226 Snapdragon 400 CPU: Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 GPU: Adreno 305 RAM: 1GB OS version: Android 4.4.2 pretty much stock Anybody ? Almost forgot, does it matter if it's EU version? |

RE: WipEout Pulse
Made an account to let you know that the 4 Wipeout Pulse DLC packs work in PSSPP 1.0 Windows x64.
You have to use the European version of Wipeout pulse, it only works in that version. To save you time, I have includded everything in a .zip file. Just place it in your main PPSSPP directory. Includes: Mirage Pack Icaras Pack Harimau Pack Auricom Pack \memstick\PSP\GAME\UCES00465 contains the DLC data \memstick\PSP\GAME\ contains game.text, nploader.ini, and nploader.prx that help load the DLC. RE: WipEout Pulse
Hi,
For the life of me I can't get the DLC packs to load. I keeps saying unable to load all the different edat etc... I bought the DLC long ago and play it on my Vita. Is there something I'm missing here transferring Vita PSP Content in Sony Manager Assistant? Also Azaklam's link is down now so I'm not sure what the options are at this point. |

RE: WipEout Pulse
Got the DLC working and game runs beautifully at 60fps on newest PPSSPP. I was running the vanilla game on a mac and having trouble because the folder directory was different, but it was very easy and simple to use with dlc on windows after I decided to try it there.
The game.txt, nploader.ini, and nploader.prx go in a folder named seplugins in memstick, you edit the .txt and .ini file to change ms0 to memstick, or at least I did, then put the UCES00465 folder with all the .EDAT's and one PARAM.PBP into the GAME folder. My save data was saved as UCES00465P0000 so I thought I might have to change the name there too, but that didn't work, just the original is fine. Just search wipeout pulse eu dlc on 4shared and the password for the .rar is sceewipeoutpulse. Having a new issue though, I'm using the game's function to play your own .mp3's from the music folder, and the audio stutters horribly. The "Sound speed hack (Dead Or Alive, etc.)" option speeds it up to the point where it's listenable but it's also way too fast. At this point I'm considering slowing down the songs in audacity and then having the emulator run it sped up, as the rest of the game is fine, but it would be nice if there were a solution. EDIT: I also found out how to run it on mac with dlc. Just rename the directory from ms0 to ppsspp, and instead of making a memstick folder, reroute everything to the main ppsspp folder. So that's ppsspp/psp/game/uces00465 for the dlc, ppsspp/psp/savedata/uces00465p0000 for the save file, and ppsspp/seplugins for the game.txt, nploader.ini and nploader.prx files. I've only tested it with a version that already had dlc installed through a windows vm, but it seems to work fine. I also got music to show up, but it's stuttering like before. Saw the same issue on a recent github thread and a topic from here but two years ago. |

Wipeout Pulse super slow
Hello,
PPSSPP runs great on my HTC One m7 with Daxter (30/30 fps, 100% speed) but with WipeoutPulse, i get 5 to 10 fps, depending on the settings. Is there a known bug with this game ? Thanks |

RE: WipEout Pulse
thought i'd give an update on the status of this game because its been awhile since anyone commented on it.
tested on PPSSPP v1.2.2 10+ hours playtime. unlocked every grid and played on every track (all 32 white and black versions). and used all of the 12 vehicles. no frameskip and using 2X PSP resolution (960 x 544). no crashes. sturdy 60 FPS 99% of the time, only dropping a frame or two in very rare circumstances. all running on my little potato (specs are in my signature). near flawless emulation. there are a few rendering anomalies and audio cracks but i'm nitpicking. the vast majority of people wouldn't notice them. this is coming from someone who played the original a lot years ago on a real PSP so I can pick up on the little details and in most situations its perfect emulation. so if anyone was thinking about trying this game, now would be a great time. and it scales very well to HD. only issue worth noting is the lack of custom music. the game features the option to add your own songs (i think up to 30) but custom music still doesn't work correctly. any custom audio you add is distorted. changing all of the audio settings did not fix it.
