RE: Gripshift
Hi Sum2012 ,
Not sure if this helps but don't use save states just let it load normally - that's what i found otherwise it would'nt pass menu - here's a log of 9.8.228 aswell of where it freezes after 1st track - hope it might help.

Format :ISO
Version :9.8.929-g63c4d1e
Game ID :ules00177
OS :Windows xp (32bit)
Compatability: slightly working to 1st level
OpenGl vers.4.3.0
GLSL: 4.30 NVIDIA via Cg Compiler

Game title menu's and ingame are not stretched anymore - but stops after 1st level still - also game has occasional crashes during menu - this is the error it shows after selecting next level in game.

RE: Gripshift
Game freezes after name input screen
Also there's this flickering at the bottom of the screen but after cycling through all the rendering modes once, this disappears

edit: sum2012 wow your build actually works but there is no audio =(

RE: Gripshift
Yeah I already have that build it's from June 30, and it does make the game perfectly playable =) but like I said there's no audio =(

In the latest version of PPSSPP, 0.9.9, the game is actually playable now but it does freeze when you enter a menu and try to go back (by pressing the triangle button) so that's a big problem...
Also there's still the flickering bar at the bottom

RE: Gripshift
This should be moved to in-game O.o I mean it's not stuck at menu or intro, you can at least play 1 level then the freezing bug occurs O.o

RE: Gripshift
I got it working in the latest build (version 1.0.1 windows).

If it is freezing on you and wont load the second level, all you have to do (and do this quickly before the audio glitches in about 10 seconds after the logo screens) go to Options, Sound Options, then set the Music Volume to zero.

It works flawlessly for me after I did that.

RE: Gripshift
Are you sure you're using the latest git build? There's no such option.

But just to clarify, it sounds like forcing the game to write zeros to some buffer or another is causing it to work. This could mean we have incorrect behavior somewhere (e.g. some init function clearing a buffer or something) that mostly doesn't matter, but that this game accidentally depends on.
