That's what I thought I checked bleach 7, on 0.7 it's not even working, testing on other versions, i figured out that fast mem is crashing the game, but if you disable it, it will crash the ppsspp or freeze the phone when you load a fight. Checked Pes 13, without vertex cache = 15 fps, with it turned on, 25/35. Frameskip doesn't work on pes 13. |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Cool with this update i can play obscure at 15-40 fps. But removing the fastmem thing i causing trouble. I think its auto active. Some games dont work with Fast mem. Thanks Xsacha.
I tried Some games on nexus 7 and they run faster than my nokia 701. but i guess thats becuase Nexus 7 is quad core. I hope ppsspp on symbian gets 60 fps on some of the good games one day. |

It can run some games at 60 FPS like Double Blade, Puzzle Bobble and Tehra Dark Warrior. That is a feat in itself. No doubt there'll be many more games that run full speed. But there will also be quite a lot of games that run slow (especially considering many games still run slow on top-end Android handsets). |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Xsacha, thanks for your reply.
I've already done that and tried all possible combinations in settings. The results are the same. I've tried Wipeout Pure and Pulse and both can't pass that SCE screen here. I tested in 0.67, 0.68 and 0.7. The only difference is that 0.7 crashes the emulator with JIT on, even before the on screen controls appear. Buffered rendering and frame skip made no difference. I even turned off fps counter and controls. Maybe it has something to do with fastmem, since it used to crash the emulator or the entire system. Is there anyway to turn that off? |

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
Wipeout Pure works here which is interesting. I will post future versions with all available options now that Ector has changed the sizing in the menu (so everything fits now).

RE: PPSSPP Symbian Port
using the latest git build here are some speed tests (vps test)
dragonball evolution 30-35 with frameskip ,avg 33.4 without frameskip 24.6 fps differs by changing the background and maybe the characters wipeout pure 7-18 , 13.5 avg with frameskip . speed changes dramatically when someone uses an attack, graphicsal effects slows the game down. I dont recommend playing it without frameskip jetpack joyride 15-60, yes 60 while flying xD usually 57-43 but when graphicsal bugs occurs fps drops down to 9-15 naruto kizuna drive 35 with frameskip but black screen ingame ,12.5 without frameskip naruto akatsuki rising 23.5 with frameskip up to 30, 21.3 without frameskip |
