I'm so looking forward to trying this out as well. I just don't know what to do to install it. I downloaded it and unzipped and what remained was an application. What should I do with this file. Ive read tutorials on using a DEB file. My macbook is however viewing this file as an application file.

Confused

RE: MFi controller support implementation
You should change the title of this thread. People think you're requesting mfi support when you already implemented it on your own. You'll attract many more people.

This is really cool but when I install it with your description safari and Mail crash when I open them. Ppsspp works though. Do you think you can add analg support?

RE: [Patch] MFi controller support implementation
Although i would like to try this.. i fear it will break PPSSPP. So i hope they implement this officially in a more stable build. But great work!

Replaced app with deb for more easy installation.

Do you did anything other than copying PPSSPP.app folder?
As for analog support - left thumbstick should work. If not - try to map it in settings.

RE: [Patch] MFi controller support implementation
Make a back up with iTunes.
Check Cydia "Installed" pane if there is a PPSSPP app, remove it.
Check whether there are folders MobileSafari.app and MobileMail.app in /Application directory (but highly unlikely that file manager deleted them).
Delete PPSSPP.app folder and turn off / turn on your device, check if this fix Safari crash.

RE: [Patch] MFi controller support implementation
Update:
- weak linking of GameController framework (avoid crash with iOS < 7);
- support gamepads without thumbsticks;
- right thumbstick can be mapped as 4 extra buttons.

MFi controller support is already commited in the git. Just have to wait for the new version of ios ppsspp to roll out.

Edited topic title to reflect that it's been merged. Feel free to continue to use this thread as a discussion thread about it, though. Smile

RE: [Patch, Merged, Discussion] MFi controller support implementation
Does it support Ipega? Why is it that when I use my ipega in icade mode,the buttons in ppsspp become sticky and buggy????

My only way around is blutrol which is not out yet for ios7
