RE: How to get unfiltered upscaled native resolution?
But with native resolution you will always get blur, unless you play on old CRT monitor

I guess it's still defaulted to bilinear resize kernel? 1x ppsspp default 1x shot resized with nearest neighbor kernel using external image editor : Is it possible to use different kernel for upsizing and downsizing? something like spline36 would be nice... http://svn.int64.org/viewvc/int64/resamp...rnels.html |

If you look at the text, I strongly doubt that the letters were so irregularly aliased on a real PSP, so the accuracy of PPSSPP probably needs to be improved as well. (If you need examples, look at how different the two letters P are in "player phase", or all of the letters i in "militiaman". |

RE: How to get unfiltered upscaled native resolution?
It's not really distorted at all, but okay.
In any case, there doesn't seem to be a 100% spot-on solution right now. You could always try JPCSP to see if their graphical settings offer such an option (haven't checked for your specific request, though). 4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be.
