RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
I get a ton of graphic glitches when playing this.
Using PPSSPP 0.96-190 64bit (the newer versions just have more glitches in other games) on win 7 and frequently texture don't load properly, for example often the ground is all black. Or almost all the time people's faces and hair are messed up, using their body textures on the face and their skin textures on the hair. This turns on and off randomly and frequently, usually flickers between the two states. Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 - Intel i5-4670K 4x 3.40 GHz - GeForce GTX 760- 8GB RAM - DirectX 11 |

Hard to say what it might be, since you didn't list PC specs, settings, or anything.
4GHz AMD 3900X, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 6GB Nvidia RTX 2060, Asus Crosshair 7 Hero (Wifi), Linux How to ask useful questions: https://web.archive.org/web/20110214010944/http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375 I'm not Dark_Alex, nor do I claim to be. Our nicknames are merely coincidence. |

Are your drivers up to date by any chance? Have you tried running PPSSPP using default settings?

RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
Thanks, resetting the settings seems to have fixed it.
I expected it to be a settings problem, does anyone know which setting can cause this? I've had the same problem in other games as well (like Dissidia Duodecim but it's fixed as well now). I just want to avoid getting the same problem again when I change settings. Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 - Intel i5-4670K 4x 3.40 GHz - GeForce GTX 760- 8GB RAM - DirectX 11 |

Sometimes, graphic enhancements react badly to certain games because of how the game is designed. In my case, I have had to disable FastMem(which is enabled by default) on a couple of games as it can cause PPSSPP to crash, though it's normally kept on since now it's in small isolated cases. RE: Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII
Yeah, I'll make a backup of my current stable settings so I can track changes or just restore if I get problems again.
