RE: fast and cheap android tablet
It should be fast. But not enough to run all games at full speed. I run many games fast with 1.2Ghz Cortex A9. I think you already saw the the guide to maximize the performance, just use those tips.
Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636) PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro |

RE: fast and cheap android tablet
Cloud is right, out of those 512 MB RAM, 300 goes just for the OS leaving you with 200 or less...best go for something minimum 1 GB RAM, dual core 1,2 ghz (possibly more ) depending on budget. Personally I'm saving up for a laptop instead.

RE: fast and cheap android tablet
Ppsspp doesn't use too much ram.
100 mb maximum, usually around 60 mb mark.. How do I know this? Henrik quoted ages ago but can't find the post. Ram won't be a problem unless your an android games, gamer. Also 512 mb ram and jelly don't compliment each other well, as jelly been already uses 300 mb plus for system resources.. so only a bit left to play with when playing android games. For ppsspp and most other emus, it shouldn't really matter though. |

@stodag
Do you mean this? (03-21-2013 05:42 AM)Henrik Wrote: The issue simply isn't RAM at all, all phones have enough RAM for ppsspp, really. (03-21-2013 12:30 PM)Henrik Wrote: again, PPSSPP requires only about 100MB, more RAM is useless except if there are memory leak bugs, which there shouldn't be. ● If you report (or happen to find any) game/mini/demo that's still not on the compatibility list yet even after 48 hours, you can PM me the link! ● Sorry for my bad english, I'm Indonesian. |
