Those are pretty much the default settings

60FPS help some games(GoW games for example)and as the guide says
11. Turn ON Fast Memory. (minor performance boost on x86, major performance boost on Android, not always recommended since it is quite unstable and can cause crashes. If your games start crashing, turn FastMem OFF.) Your device (PC or Android) is emulating another system (PSP) that operates at a default frequency of 222 MHz, which requires a certain amount of power from your own device's CPU and GPU. Lowering that aforementioned frequency from 222 MHz to a lower number, say, 111 MHz means that the demand of the emulated CPU has dropped by half, which also means that less power is required by the host device that is emulating the system. TL;DR:- Emulated PSP CPU Frequency Down (to a certain point) --> Demands on your host system (PC/Android) Down --> Performance in games Up. Why do I state to a certain point? Well that's because many games require a baseline minimum frequency to function properly. This varies from game to game, and if you lower the frequency too much and below the point they're comfortable with, they start misbehaving. I've already mentioned the symptoms in the guide, but they include screen flickering, polygonal abnormalities and other unintended behaviour. E.g. FFVII CC is comfortable with CPU speeds as low as 40-50 MHz. On the other hand, games like Tekken 6 won't even start unless you set the speed to 222 MHz or the default. Nope, it won't hurt your GN2's CPU because we're lowering the emulated PSP CPU's speed, NOT your Android device speed. That still remains the same. E.g. Your Quad Core CPU @ 1.6 GHz will still be 1.6 GHz. We are not touching that at all. We are touching the emulated PSP CPU speed @ 222 MHz which will be reduced to a lower point. There's no harm that can come to your phone/table/PC by trying that option out. At all. Worst case scenario, your games will start misbehaving if it is set too low, but you can always just reset it back to default if that happens, or try a higher speed. I wonder why on system options mutithread and I/O on thread makes games lagging although I have quad core mali 400 ?
the games stats with huge speed then suddenly frames drops and so do on .. is that unstability ( expermintal ) or personal issue with my processor ? in breif I meant that multithreading gives huge speed at the begining then unstable lags .. I hope iam clear enough to show my problem |

Does the same thing happen with Multithreaded (MT) off? (fast, then slowdowns after some time like you mentioned.) If your answer is no, then the problem lies with the MT function, which is to be expected, since it is experimental. Just leave it off, it does not seem to work well with many other mobile devices at the moment. If your answer is yes, then the problem is your personal device, which cannot sustain the increased power usage, and is therefore throttling your speed to save power/battery. Confirm this behaviour by using a profiler, or plugging your device to the wall socket, effectively charging it. Some devices (unless rooted), are designed to throttle down frequencies after crossing a certain power/thermal limits. It'd be useful if you had a monitoring program to confirm this. I'm just speculating since I do not have your specific device. Also remember that Mali devices are still in the problematic zone for PPSSPP as compared to Adreno devices. The best mobile graphics chipset to go with for PPSSPP at the moment is definitely one of the latest Adreno chipsets. Mali, PowerVR and Tegra (3) devices have various issues with PPSSPP that are still unresolved, arising from terribly written drivers unsuited for 3D heavy applications like PPSSPP. ya .. I bought galaxy note 2 as it is number 3 rank mobile in android world according to antutu benchmark .. never thought that mali 400 ( graphic ) is that bad .. but the processor is great ..
then I stuck with my phone till furthur developing .. but I knew that android 4.3 will support open gl 3.0 for my mobile .. will that affect performance or it is just a hardware issue ? |

Won't change anything, PPSSPP is only targetting OpenGL ES 2.0 at the moment to maintain compatibility with older devices since only a handful of newer devices will support 3.0. It's just a hardware issue at the end of the day, the Mali 400 graphics chipset is just not good for PPSSPP at all thanks to its bad drivers.
