RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
Nexus S has a PowerVR SGX 540 so I supose that now it will run on : Nexus S, Galaxy S, Galaxy Nexus, LG Optimus 2x and other with the same GPU.
On other phones with Mali T400 Like Samsung Galaxy S2 and 3, Or Sony Xperia U and P it not boot from now. No one else has posted the results with others GPUs. |

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
I guess that with chainfire and simulating PowerVR SGX 540 should work and improve some the performance for the rest of GPU. (If Someone want to try it)
mrjaredbeta I'm interested on see your video. I think that have to exist a soluction which work for all, But if not then the solucion could be to choose the GPU from the emulator, or make that the emulator detect your GPU and use one or other instructions. If you see most of Android's games data have diferent version for diferent GPU: PowerVR, Adreno and Mali |

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
it's not related to the gpu, there is something wrong with one instruction in our cpu

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
I'm going to upload the video right now! As I told you, there isn't a HUGE difference in speed but it does run a little faster. And the loading takes FOREVER, but it's prerelease, what do you expect? Haha

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
Maybe the loading times are from the .cso? I'm going to try my .iso later to see if it is different. EDIT: Around 4:40 is the speed of the jit, no freezes for loading or anything. Compare it to my other video to see the difference in speed. THIS IS ONLY AN EARLY BUILD OF JIT SO V0.6 WILL BE FASTER THAN THIS OBVIOUSLY. |

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
Lol, just making things clear
Sorry, I don't have that game I have Crisis Core, I could make a video to see how it runs on there. I also have a lot of incompatible games right now :/ But this is probably the best progress I have seen in an emulator EVER so I'm sure compatibility will get better in a SNAP. |
