RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
I read somewhere that v0.5 will bring a ~2x speed improvement, without JIT...

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
Well it seems to be running good on my gt-i9300.
Let's wait for multi - threading support and it will just get better. Hoping the next build will come soon! And oh! that "android jit" seems to be good. Ryzen 5 1600 @3.8Ghz Sapphire Nitro+ RX480 @1.4Ghz --------------------------------------------- Nokia 8 - Snapdragon 835 |

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
I have more hope in dynarec (jit) for arm then multi-threading

I would also like to see the implementation of "jit" first before multi threading as more users will benefit from it as most of them does not have multi-core devices. Multi threading should be implemented after all sorts of things have been ironed out. RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
This speed increase with JIT also increases compatibility or are things different?

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
jit may even break some game ahah this is why there is the choice between jit and interpreter
but jit will provide a good speed boost Hey everybody, tired of the way games are reported here? look here ->> http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=5901 --Current Mobile device-- Htc one, Xplay, Walkman z, Samsung ace IIx (crap) --Current Computer-- 1x (e8200, shitty ram (3go), 9600gt) 1x (e6750, better ram (2go), no video card) 1x (i5-3210M, ram (4Go),650M) |

Dynarec, another way to interpret cpu

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
I think they need to get some better compatibility with the interpreter first before building any form of a dynarec.
BTW, the Dreamcast emulator that DrkIIRaziel is finishing off for Android has a decent dynarec and is showing off full speeds on dual-core @ 1ghz Android devices. With the PSP having about 2x more power than the Dreamcast, with good optimization into the future, there's no reason why we can't get full speeds with PPSSPP. Just check out these two videos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBbqo9AXjU8 and: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzzTFLv8zv8 |

RE: what kind of speed could arm jit produce ?
i am wondering if higher cpu frequency will help for better performance when arm jit will ready(i am not talking about multi core cpu but only the higher frequency of cpu)
