ppsspp multiplayer crash

Hello, i have been using ppsspp for a while now and i keep encountering a problem when i press the multiplayer key in the psp games i have(pes 2014, burnout legends, tekken 6, obscure the aftermath, splinter cell essentials,undead knight, smack down vs raw 2011, grand theft auto liberty city stories) the problem is that when i press multiplayer key in any of those games while the networking/WLAN is on, the game would crash . Is there a possible solution to this? Or i have to set up the connection between pc and the ipad air first before the crashing would stop?
