Sound issues due to OS sound settings

If the OS sound settings are configured for a subwoofer (2.1) instead of stereo (2.0), the audio becomes distorted.
This may only occur in my specific setup (Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus), but I would appreciate it if this could be fixed.

Hm, didn't know this could happen.

There have been some sound changes lately, can you try one of the latest development builds and let me know how it works? https://www.ppsspp.org/devbuilds/

I'm using the Windows development build (v1.19.3-270).

Upon reviewing past development builds, this issue has been occurring since v1.19.2-117.
There were no problems prior to this version.

Yeah, I’ve noticed similar sound distortion when the OS is set to 2.1 output instead of stereo. Try switching your sound settings to 2.0 (stereo) in the Windows sound control panel
