And it happens with default settings? It's possible "lazy texture hashing" might cause issues, maybe.

I tried with a save that has a bunch of followers on that screen and there weren't any problems. I am using the latest git build, though, rather than v1.2.2.

Reset to default settings and it still happened. Tried the latest git build still the same. It's not just the follower menu either. pretty much any menu screen. Including the store, quest and alchemy menus.
