PhoneJoy is only compatible with certain games; it won't work with PPSSPP. However, if you got a PS3, PS4, or Wii U Pro controller, you can install Controllers For All on Cydia. It fairly easy to set up; you will need a computer for the initial connection if you want to use a PS3 controller.
