PPSSPP runs awesome on PCs
But I dont know the performance on win8 tablets such as W510 ME400C and THINKPAD TABLET2 since i dont have any.
Anyone tried it? i think the PowerVR SGX545 of Z2760 should be far enough for it.
and the PPSSPP with other apps like virtual keyboard would be great!

I'm a bit of a noobie when it comes to the PSP (I owned one for less than 24 hours before returning it). From what I understand, it can easily play PS1 games. Also from what I understand, PPSSPP currently isn't capable of playing converted EBOOT.PBP files for the converted PS1/PSX games. Is support for this planned?
It'd be absolutely amazing to play PS1 games, especially for iOS users, as ZodTTD has neglected to update his psx4all emulator in years, so it doesn't work.

I think the emulator should emulate the hardware and execute the software.
Operating system is a software and it should be extracted from an original PSP and PPSSPP should emulate the hardware and execute the extracted OS.
If that Atract3 codec is included in the operating system, then it would not be needed to emulate it.
I have this question because some emulators, such as PS1 and PS2, require BIOS from the console.
