I'm at nearly the end of God of War: Chains of Olympus and I get a lot of Invalid address errors generated non-stop at the phase 2 of fighting Hades' wife. She keeps attacking but nothing happens. I don't see Kratos on the screen and I can't do anything. Only select and start button work.
Is there any workaround to make it work? I'm using v0.7.6-1214.
There is a ghost screen appears at the top right corner of the screen when I play GOW: Chains of Olympus and enable Buffered Rendering. It disappears if Buffered Rendering is disabled.
I think its some bug - just look @ screenshots. First game - EXIT.
Next - Dissidia, russian version.
Some kind of PPSSPP window:
OK, here's next interesting thing:
If uou dont understand: there is problems with native eglish PSP char spacing and with native russain PPSSPP char spacing.
I recently downloaded PPSSPP for my Acer Aspire 5755G laptop (just some info) and tried downloading Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy. It downloaded fine and I started playing it on my laptop. That was when I first encountered a couple of problems. First of all, it was really slow. Like REALLY slow, with only 1 or 2 frames a second, After that, I managed to get past the language selection screen and then it just stuck on the loading screen, which showed lucasflm and a bunch of other companies that made the game. I got the exact same .iso and tried playing it on my Android phone, which is a Google Nexus 4, which, for those of you who don't know, isn't some terrible backstreet phone. This is a 2GB 1.51 GHZ £280 beast of a phone. It ran perfectly on the phone, albeit slowly, but faster than before. I was able to play the game fine and dandy but honestly stopped after a bit due to the understandable lack of frames. I tried again on my computer, but this time nothing happened, it just stayed on a black screen, and it keeps doing that however many times I try. I checked the debug log console and it said, in yellow: (I'll post a picture below)
Now I know a little bit about computers, but not much, so I had no clue what was going on here. It was at this moment I decided to make a forum post about it. And it's not like the computer is that bad. It has 8GB of ram, Nvidia Geforce GT 540M notebook GPU, Intel Core i7-2670QM 2.2GHZ turbo boost to 3.1. Not a bad laptop, eh?
So if anyone has any suggestions on what to do, please tell me. I haven't changed any of the settings apart from the controls but I still used my keyboard.
In most emulators, the CPU speed seems to be the vital thing for performance of emulators as compared to GPU. But, I have read in PPSSPP forum that GPU seems to be important in terms of performance. Now, can someone tell me how much GPU is used by PPSSPP? Can we precisely say it in percentage ratio, such as 60% GPU 40% CPU? In case of PC, even old ATI Radeon X800 and X300 seems to be very good in performance in PPSSPP. Is VRAM more important or GPU clock is more important?
Edit: I mistakenly rated it as 1 star and now I can't change it. Sigh...
As you can see in the screenshot above, it's weird. I've looked everywhere in this forum for any similar cases but nothing, so I'm making this new thread. Mods should move this to the correct section if this isn't (I'm not sure).
That only happens with the Linux build, in Windows 8 everything is perfect and smooth, so I don't believe it's a issue with my hardware. I've also installed the required dependencies and my distro (Lubuntu 13.04, x64) was updated before the test. I have a Semp Toshiba IS 1413G with the following specs:
OK so last night before I went to bed I started downloading Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force 5 so my little brother and I could play it. I woke up and saw it was a .rar file. I extracted it back to my phone through my computer and now I have a folder. The folder has the game name on it and inside is a bunch of file which at the end say.r01. R00 .R59. Then a couple others. How do I get this to play on my phone /how do I change it to make it work. If it helps this is where I got it - No Piracy here ~GuilhermeGS2
