  Video Issues
Posted by: andoru - 07-06-2013, 02:46 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (2)

*edited the thread as it no longer just applies to BoFIII*
I've been trying out some games in PPSSPP, and it seems that some absolutely require the Buffered Rendering option to be turned on. While this might seem okay, it's very slow, dropping to around 1.02-2 VPS. I know that my PC is not the fastest around, but I'm thinking it should at least be at a faster framerate, so I was thinking maybe there are some issues with some library in PPSSPP? I also noticed that when I have too many games in the Recent list on the emulator's main screen, it slows down quite a lot, plus that in some games it's really hard to get 2x Render Resolution so it all could be connected.
I'm on Windows XP and my PC's specs are P4 Celeron D 2.26GHz single core, NVidia 5500FX 256MB on AGPx4 (with the latest drivers), 1.25GB RAM.

  Problem with controls
Posted by: madmaxmadog - 07-05-2013, 01:55 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (31)

Okay so i've downloaded the latest builds(0.8.1-302) and they seem to have a control problem (keyboard controls). I set them as I always do when i download a new build. The problem is they don't work...but some keyboard buttons still did something. So i went into the settings menu, controls, keymapping and found a second set of mapped controls. These are the ones that are activated in-game. The problem is I can't map them the way i want. An example, L was mapped to Q, I mapped it to O. When i wanted to map Select to Q it said that i can't do that cause Q was already mapped to L trigger.... went back to L trigger and the key was clearly stated to be O, not Q. And no matter how I arrange them they seem to stay completely default.
Please help and sorry for such a long description.

Question Transferring Save from PC to Android
Posted by: zenriko - 07-05-2013, 09:11 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (1)

Greets,

First of all, congratz on such a great emulator!

My question is primarily where is the install location of PPSSPP on an android device (in my case the Nexus 7). I am browsing my nexus and cannot find PPSSPP anywhere?

Basically I want to copy my save data from my PC's PPSSPP to my Nexus, so that I can continue from where I left off Cool

Keymapping on latest build is bugged, either it doesn't respond at all or says "key is already in use". Tested on Windows XP SP3
