[Solved] Could Use Some Knowledge Here
Posted by: Rathalos Rider - 12-31-2013, 02:25 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (24)

Hey everyone, I just got this emulator and I'm really enjoying it! Right now I'm trying to play Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, one of my favorite games. To create a new character, it asks for a name. If you play it on the PSP, letters appear that you use the X button to select and spell out a name. On the emulator though, this never happened, so I'm stuck on the character creation screen. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem? I've put in over 200 hours into it and I don't want to stop now.

  Help a newbie
Posted by: Sylar - 12-31-2013, 04:32 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (3)

Hello everyone, i'm new to ppsspp. I downloaded the emulator yesterday and have been trying to play 2 games:

First, i tried to play Dragon ball Z Shin budokai Another Road. It plays almost perfectly but i have a problem: After i complete a mission, during the cutscene the emulator will stop, saying that ppsspp has failed or something along those lines. Anyway to play cutscenes or do i just skip them?

Second, i tried to play Megaman Maverick Hunter X. The first time i tried it i made it to the main menu but had to go so i closed the emulator. Now, when i try to play it, it gets stuck in the "accessing" part. Is this a known problem? If so, is there any way i can play this game?

And in case it is needed, here are my computer specs:

Acer Aspire X1430G
Processor AMD E-450 APU with Radeon HD graphics 1.65 GHz
RAM 4 GB
64 bit operating system

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello Community,

is someone using a Gametel controller with this emulator? I wonder how well it may run with PPSSPP. Are there any errors etc?
Or is this fully supported and works how it should work?

Thanks for answers!

[Solved] in game system menu not appearing
Posted by: abrac - 12-28-2013, 07:09 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (4)

I can't seem to access the in game system menu (you know, the one where you change settings and load save states). My previous phone (Nokia n8) had an icon at the top of the screen, but my new Huawei P6 doesn't. How do you access it otherwise? Let me also add that there are no buttons on the virtual keypad besides the back, home, and task switcher keys. Thanks guys, Chris.
