i jailbroke my iphone 5s with an ios of 8.1

i installed ppsspp thru cydia. When i opened ppsspp for the 1st time, it crashes.

why??? ppsspp isn't compatible with ios 8.1 or something??

i had been using PPSSPP 9.8 with my ps3 controller fine, but i decided to update to 9.9 and since then the controller doesnt work with it(but if i use 9.8 it still works)

any idea what would cause it to work with 1 but not the other?

Especially on FF type 0 and KH birth by sleep on 2X native resolution

My device is R1S right now, and those two games run bad . While KH bbs fps is quite choppy and there is sound lag, FF type 0 run slow and unplayable at 12 FPS. I already tweak the setting but still....

Problems -
1) Sometimes the audio is choppy/laggy as hell.
2) Frame drops sometimes.
3) Black screen for occasionally for 1 second sometimes.

Is the 2k display causing this?

So I have my note 4 and I'm connecting it to the dualshock 4 controller (playstation 4 controller in case anybody is unsure) through an OTG cable. Works great in my other emulators, but for some reason it's wonky on ppsspp. I cleared out all the preset config, and let it auto configure, I select the sony controller option and it binds most of the buttons correctly. Except the triangle button is bound to L1, and all the other action buttons are to something else. If I try to manually bind the buttons it keeps defaulting to the y axis something (don't have the set up on my right now).

Is there any way of manually going into an ini file and editing it so that the right buttons are to the right command?

Right, so i checked "pause while not focused" option, and it does reduce CPU load to 0%, but while the keyboard presses are not being picked up by PPSSPP - gamepad presses are. So i put savestate\loadstate on left and right gamepad triggers on my 360 controller, and i was playing another game with PPSSPP minimized, then maximized PPSSPP window only to find it loaded my savestate from long ago, AND simulated actions from presses of other buttons, jumping through some of the game's dialogue.

I'm sort of new into this whole jailbreaking and what not, I used to have ppsspp emu on ios 8.0.2 with games but they ran slow due to me not jailbreaking my phone. I recently upgraded to ios 8.1 and I do have the ppsspp on my phone because this time I did the whole jail break procedure though pangu. Only problem, I can't add games through itunes like I used to. I do have Iso files, I just can't manage to put games. Any help?

First time poster and small time lurker and I have encountered a problem while trying to play so far 3 of the games I have downloaded on my Android Venue Tablet. I have tried Persona 3, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep and TotW: Radiant Mythology. I have no frame rate issues, no blackscreen, no saving problems; It's just that with all of these games at a certain point while playing they all crash and give me the message that PPSSPP has stopped working. In KH when I am in the 2nd cut scene after you start a new game, in Persona 3 right before your first battle, and in Radiant Mythology, right before it lets me choose whether I want to be male or female. I have played with the settings and have followed numerous tutorials to the exact step to try to resolve this issue and this is the only problem I am having. Does anyone have any insight as to whats happening and why its doing this? NOTE: I am running Ver. 0.9.9.1 of PPSSPP

UPDATE: So after a full day of messing around, restoring my tablet etc.. I finally have just come to the conclusion that Version 0.9.9.1 has a bug that causes the application to crash before a major cutscene/event takes place (i.e. Cutscene, in game sprite uploading etc..). After a while I finally just decided that an older client must be used to compensate for the error. I first uninstalled the new version of the application and then downloaded Version 0.9.8. Right away everything was fixed; no more crashing. Please PPSSPP look into this as soon as possible so that others don't encounter the same problem I had.
Thanks again guys and I must say that this is the best application I have ever downloaded by far and will donate as soon as I can!

How to download Version 0.9.8:
1. Go to your Settings~Security
2. Make sure that the Unknown Sources box is checked (this will allow you to download and install the earlier Version)
3. Go to the PPSSPP downloads page, download Version 0.9.8 and Install
4. Adjust your settings accordingly and there you go!

Hello everyone

When I play Smackdown vs Raw 2006,2007 and 2008 (I play mostly those three), during gameplay, the PPSSPP says «PPSSPP stopped working» and then I have to start all over again the same match or other stuff.

Can someone give me a solution for this please.
