Hello,
As thread name says PPSSPP is crashing every time I try to either save or load a state, it wasn't happening yesterday when I last played Star Ocean 1.
I'm using the build v1.0.1-455-gde525f3.
What I tried so far:
- Run PPSSPP executable as admin
- Tried to Save and Load state in another game
- Double checked Folder permissions and users
- Tried to load state in 1.0.1 stable version but it gives the error: "load state failed to load" this was expected since according to the FAQs save states aren't supposed to work in different builds or something
Code: i.imgur.com/mSPNqgD.png
- When saving state in 1.0.1 PPSSPP also crashes (this time with Fate Extra/CCC)
Code: i.imgur.com/wUPdIna.png
I ran the InfoLog.bat and tried to load the state, this is the result: Code: pastebin.com/pKmYDjDt
Then I deleted the ppsspplog.txt and tried to save a new state in another slot resulting in: Code: pastebin.com/Mtp0yknJ
The error/crash window is always the same:

What is driving me mad is that yesterday I was playing SO 1 fine and now it's crashing also no one else use this pc. I've been using PPSSPP for a long while beat a couple of games on it (thanks for this great emulator!) but this is the first time ever I ran into an issue.
Edit 1: Yesterday before starting SO1, I downloaded the git build and just extracted it into my ppsspp directory replaced files with the same name. I'm pretty sure I did it in the past before 1.0+ builds and never ran into an issue but oh well maybe it might help in tracking this issue.
Edit 2: typos.
Thanks in advance.

| --=SOLVED=- Decrypting EBOOT.BIN? |

Basically, I recently lost my PSP. I found out about PPSSPP, and decided to play one of my favorite PSP games, Hatsune Miku Project Diva 2nd. I then found out there's an English patch, which requires the ability to decrypt EBOOTs. I've tried looking up pre-patched versions, all 404'd. When I launch a decrypter such as PRXDecrypter, it just can't find the file. Where do I put them in the folders? I can't seem to post a link, so y'all are going to have to find the patch on Project Diva Wikispaces yourselves (I don't know if trying to get around the rule is allowed using commas or whatever so projectdiva,wikispaces,com/Translation+Patch+%282nd%29)
I've found a program called PSP Cipher that does the trick. If you find the program and are also looking for how to do this, drop the EBOOT.BIN in the same folder as it and run the .bat-- the new file will be .bin and the resulting .bak is a backup

TL;DR: Make sure your antivirus isn't sandboxing PPSSPP
So after recently starting to use PPSSPP, I plugged in my memory card from my PSP and transferred my SAVEDATA folder into the correct location (ppsspp/memstick/PSP/SAVEDATA). I loaded up Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, and could play my saves.
I loaded up Dissidia Final Fantasy: 012 Duodecim and tried to load my saves, but was met with "No save data found" or whatever the error is. After looking around a bit, I noticed some strange behavior: the PSP folder from the path above I navigated to with "File > Open Memory Stick" was not the same folder as the one I dropped my saves into. However, the paths looked 100% identical: C:\Users\Username\Desktop\Emulators\ppsspp\...
The one ppsspp found had 3 folders in it, and the one I dragged my saves into still only had SAVEDATA. This led me to find that ppsspp was actually looking in a DIFFERENT folder called C:\VTRoot\HarddiskVolume4\...
It thought it was there because Comodo Internet Protection was sandboxing my game. To fix it,
1. Double click the comodo icon in the system tray at the bottom right of your desktop;
2. Click the number next to the box that says "Sandboxed Apps:";
3. Right click the entry for ppsspp;
4. Add to trusted files;
5. Restart ppsspp.
After doing this, I could load my saved games properly immediately.
