I've in the mood for retro and was recommended to try ppsspp. I'm having a bit of trouble with it. I can maximise the window but if I turn on full screen in can only see the top left corner and the rest of the display is black.

I'm also wondering about a guide for settings. I'm using 1.0.1

specs: win10-64, [email protected], 8gb DDR3 1600, Samsung 830 256gb SSD and 280x 3gb. I play on a 42" 1080p LED TV + 360 controller.
I'm not sure how demanding it can be but I will be upgrading to skylake soon.

I can find guides on settings for low end devices but not for mid-range PCs.

What are idea settings for high fidelity with a minimum 40-60fps? I will be playing games like dexter and FFIV

Hi there! New here, first time using PPSSPP, and just bought a Logitech f710 controller. I'm playing God Eater Burst, finished it already on my PSP, trying out PSP emulators and controller. I configured the controls, put in my data, everything is fine. Except that I can't do combos. For example, ⬛ is light attack, and ? is heavy attack. ⬛ + ⬛ + ? is a combo, but ? isn't following up, resulting in me just being able to either spam a couple of light hits or heavy hits. Is this on the controller or the emulator's side? Thanks!

Though I have the several iso's It does not seem to work fairly well on my pc.
When I emulate the iso's on PPSSPP
the openings are fine
but when the starting page should come up, it just goes black.
how should I fix the problem?
--the iso's works well on my friends computer so I think it is my pc's problem

i was wondering and curious is there a way to use or add the DLC content for psp games into the emulator or with an ISO that includes all of it ?

I have a question related to performance of ppsspp win wersion.
Is this emulator more cpu or gpu dependant when it comes to performance?
Right now I have core 2 duo E8400 @3.0 ghz with gma x4500 integrated vga, and planning to add GT 630 to make a low budget gaming PC for emulation purposes (and some gaming, like RE5,6, rev2, SH5, gta 4, outlast etc. on medium, 576p/720p)

My question is - will better gpu have performance boost in ppsspp emulator?
Right now it works very good, but on 2x resolution and 2x xBRZ scaling, dsound I have some slight choppy animation while more things are going on or while I enter new areas and want to elimate those completly as well as going to 3x-4x res. and scaling 4x.

I'm trying to play MHFU on my Samsung Galaxy S5. I can run the game with max settings at fullspeed

But when I connect a bluetooth controller(Ipega)

Game becomes choppy. Is there a fix for this?

Each time I'm on a new level in any game or each time a segment of level is loading(i guess?) in games like Wipeout, i'm having a slow-down for few seconds and what is especially annoying the sound also slows down and violates my ears.
It happens even with non-graphical games like Knights of the round in Capcom collection(low speed for two seconds at the start of each level).
I'm playing on HP laptop. It has AMD A4-5000 products.amd.com/en-gb/NotebookAPUDetail.aspx?id=67
Which I believe is enough, but only 2GB of RAM, maybe that's the reason?
I believe I tried every way to speed up, frameskiping really helps with perfomance but it doesn't fix this problem. The problem is only huge in games where you move trough the levels fast, like in Wipeout.

Particularly games like MHFU? Will frameskipping be required to get 100% speed?
