  Disable 'Speed Throttling' when multiplaying?
Posted by: Spike - 12-02-2017, 07:48 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (2)

It's really annoying when playing with someone who abuse it and breaks the game at the same time (notoriously in Coldbird)
Is there a way to prevent this?

Anybody know how to fix the error?
Vulkan worked fine with the older 1.4 build but on 1.5.2 it gives me that error, not sure why.

GTX 960 is the GPU i'm using but i do have my integrated GPU drivers installed which are being used for my 2nd screen.

I'm having trouble trying to change some settings in the app. Every time I restart it, they are changed to default. Example: language, or trying to change the app to Vulkan.

I'm using the android version with an LG G6. Any help appreciated

Video Any way to dump and replace video frames?
Posted by: hououin_kyouma - 11-30-2017, 07:07 AM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (3)

Hi! I've seen around the forum that it used to be possible to dump video frames, but that it was changed so that videos would be avoided. I've also seen that at some point, there used to be an option you could change in the texture.ini for the game to allow you to dump video frames (video = true) but I tested it (only with Persona 3 Portable) and it doesn't seem to work anymore. Sooo, as the title says, is there any way to replace video frames nowadays?

I'm working on a Persona 3 Portable HD Texture Pack, and I would like to try and upscale the opening video.

If the option is not available anymore, where and how can I request it?

Here? ...github.com/hrydgard/ppsspp/pull/8715 (Initial texture replacement support)

Valkyria Chronicles 2 - RWR Mod. PSP Model help Ripping in T pose? (disable animation
Posted by: Lady Ann - 11-29-2017, 10:02 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - No Replies

Hello there forums, I come to you asking for help (I wasn't sure what thread to post this in., quite desperately. I am responsible for making a total conversion mod for a game on steam Running with Rifles.
I have been in close contact with the developers and they are going to be adding support for 3d character models rather than voxel very soon!

I am over joyed but also in duress now because i have only been able to extract the models from the PSP game in very complex poses and not T stance like I need them in.

I have managed to use Noesis to extract the Odin.CPK and the files are all intact, but i can not figure out what any of these file types are, it is very strange. i need some saintly person to help me, I am in dire need of this or my mod will be on hold longer.

Something to note about the .PAC files. Noesis tries to open them, but it says "this file can not be previewed" that makes me think these are the model files, and that is what I need! textures I can get easy i need the character models separately. please someone help me. I have a lot of people counting on me to finish this mod.

I have tried both PPSSPP and ninja ripper to extract them but they are still animated.
and I have tried JPCSP both are animated and thus not useful to me.

So I have another idea given by another thread to some how. "corrupt" the animations files? but i'm not sure how to do that, could someone help?

Game Assassin will not work, it will not properly inject the files it needs to run with PPSSPP and JCPSP is a JAva program so can't run it there either.

I need help nothing i do will extract them in T pose and I need these models to complete the mod. If the emulator has some way of disable animations? or intentionally corrupting them. then I could use ninja ripper to get them? something could be done here I just know it. PPSSPP might be the key I've been looking for.

[Solved] Star Ocean 2nd Evolution - Crash when pressing 'Cheats'
Posted by: Ryudo - 11-29-2017, 06:29 PM - Forum: General Discussion and Announcements - Replies (1)

Whenever I try to access the cheats list via PPSSPP on SO2, it instantly crashes the emulator with the following error:

This ONLY happens with SO2. Every other game works fine, no idea why it's happening. Any clue on what's going on, or what I can do to fix the issue?

PPSSPP Version: v1.5-2-ge9303fd1c
Specs:
Intel Core i5-4670K @ 3.40GHz
AMD Radeon R9 280 @ 3 GB
Windows 7 Ultimate x64 (SP1)

[Edit]
Nevermind. Did some digging and found out it was one single line causing the thing to muck up PPSSPP.

There was a line with

Code:
_C0

And nothing else. Removing that line instantly fixed it.
