Just curious if any of you could give me an overview of what settings on the PPSSPP emulator would run best on my PC build.

I am using Gold and also it's version 1.5.4.

I downloaded today the emulator for Android plus something called pspkvn that allows me to play java games. It works perfectly. I was testing a game that asks me to press the * key. This is not among the touch controls. I went to game settings but modification of controls is not available. Then I went to the configuration of the emulator but I can not see any option that allows me to add the asterisk key as control ... Any ideas?

Please tell me how to get cheat for ppsspp 1.5.4 version. I got many cheat but not work at that version

I am attempting to use a Xbox 360 controller for the PPSSPP Android, but it does not seem to be able to register the Dpad input properly when i tried to configure the dpad controls.
I tried pressing in all 8 directions and the input recieved was all "pad1.00?".
I have tried looking for solutions in the forum but no avail.

any games like ratchet and clank or zelda on ppsspp???

Hello, I'm not sure if this goes here or not...

I'm using PPSSPP Gold v1.5.4 on an Amlogic EM95X android box (specifically this one: joydi.tv), and the AC games don't fully work on anything but Unbuffered rendering (missing graphics on all other options). I've looked though the threads on both games here on the forum, but I've found no reference to them requiring this option. My question is: do they really require that option to work correctly, or is there something I'm doing wrong? I'd rather use buffered rendering like all my other games...

Hello, I just updated to the latest version today from 1.4.2 to 1.5.4.

I'm using a fairly old phone and the Multi-threading option is what made games such as Tekken 6, Gods Eater, and other fairly taxing games on my phone playable at a full speed. Surely there was no reason to remove the option if you can just tick off the box to not have it on? I've reverted back to v1.4.2 temporarily and hoping that the removal of multi-threading was just a minor oversight and would be added back in future versions of the app as I, and I assume, many people who are in the same predicament as I would like to still use the updated version of the app.

I'm trying to change PPSSPP backend to Vulkan, and after restarting (required after changing the backend), the application won't start anymore. I have to access the internal storage and delete ppsspp.ini from ./PSP/SYSTEM, to revert to OpenGL.

Does PPSSPP have any type of logging? Did anyone with similar specs (below) managed to use Vulkan?

Specs: Le Max 2 (SND 820 - Adreno 530) LineageOS CM-14.1 (7.1.2)

I 've been having this issue ever since I updated my PPSSPP to version 1.5. Basically, whenever I open my emulator it will create 2~4 new windows on my Mac, all but one of them actually working and the rest just remain black screens until I manually close each of them. Also, sometimes the aspect ratio on the working PPSSPP window will be messed up with it being way to too small and yet stuck in full-screen mode (this rarely happens and is fixed by restarting the emulator, but I still get those black windows opening up).

The emulator itself works and runs games just fine, it's just kind of weird problem I've run into. Is there anything I can do to fix this? If not, then I can learn to deal with it. It's just a little bit of a nuisance, though.

I'm trying to play PPSSPP and so far I get really weird spots of lags and framedrops in the games I've been trying so far "Castlevania, Digimon and Star Ocean"

They seem to be random framedrops or lag. My computer should be more than powerful enough to run everything maxed.. but it's acting odd.

If there is a way to make a log I'd be happy too.
I can even try to get recordings if it helps, but I'm hoping it's just something I haven't found yet.
