first of all i want to anticipate some apologies in case of any misunderstandings cause my english isn't 100% fluent

so, i recently installed ppsspp on my macbook catalina (OS 10.15), and the joystick is acting kinda weird

some buttons aren't reconizable at all, and there are some of them that are switched

for example:
i can't use or map the circle button, same as square, R1, start, and a few more
but the arrows are working fine, same as L1 and select
when i individually or automatically map them, the cross work as circle and the triangle as square

and on the analogs:
i can use the left analog only for up and down, and the right analog is working for left and right only

it's really specific but i couldn't find a solution - i also tried a few apps like enjoyable, usb overdrive etc

the controller is a generic one, but it worked fine on openemu (which i dont really like because of the graphics on psp games)

so, if anyone know why is that happening or what can i do to fix that, i aprecciate

Hello everyone! First of all, I want to inform you that my English is not very good.
Without further ado, I'll tell you... I'm wanting to play multiplayer with a double run of PPSSPP on a single PC. So far I have managed to configure both controls so that they work independently with each PPSSPP run, and I was also able to make the LocalHost connection without problems. For now I have both executables running linked to a single data save folder. That is, they both load and save the game at the same address: C:/Users/MyUser/Documents/PPSSPP. I would like each one to have its own directory.

Example:

Running PPSSPP1 opens the directory:

C:/Users/MyUser/Documents/PPSSPP1

Running PPSSPP2 opens the directory:

C:/Users/MyUser/Documents/PPSSPP2

It's possible? How do I do it? Do I need to edit the path of a file manually?

I want to play in portrait mode but I can’t find any way to rotate my controls. All I could do was rotate the screen.
I saw that there should be a setting under system>general to be able to do this, but it’s not there.

Hello, I'd like to open this thread regarding an issue with the default BGM of the game, as it will always play songs in the same order every time you boot. Same first song, same second song, etc. and will be like this until all the in-game songs played, rolling back to the previous songs and playing them in the same order again, I find it very annoying because the game has a huge soundtrack, but I only get to listen like 4-5 tracks of it. I'm not really sure if this is a game thing, as gameplays on the real hardware have different music, like if the BGM was shuffled as it should.
Curiously, I had a similar problem with the EA Pocket Trax in Need For Speed games, which despite of being set in "Random", it would still play music in a fixed order, it would even repeat songs like if the game was really trying to play them shuffled.
I have found that changing the speed of the CPU can change the order that music is played, but I haven't found a permanent fix to make it play randomly. Does someone knows a solution for it? Maybe it's an emulation issue that can addressed in the future? Any help or explanation is very appreciated!

So I've been trying to figure this out for a while now. My font in the entire menu is super blurry blow out. I've tried uninstalling, deleting EVERYTHING file wise. Idk what to try next. ANY help at all would be appreciated. I'm on a Retroid pocket 3+ if that matters.

Hello, this is the first thread I post here.

I downloaded the Pinball Heroes ISO and also it's DLC. (I use PPSSPP on my PC computer).

The game will load but won't start. a grey text screen says the "pinball executable has loaded successfully, now install the table data"

I have no idea what this is and I haven't found any mention of it online anywhere. I haven't been able to play it.

I tried different ISO of the same game and nothing worked.

has anyone else come accross this issue? or does anyone have a possible solution? thank you

The ppsspp app opens but I can’t set it up to use internal storage, I get a java error screen. When I choose to run without storage, it opens, but I can’t upload a ROM in any way I try! I’ve stalled file manager and I setup full permission for the file manager and ppsspp but it still won’t work.
