I'm running this game in the latest IOS build v0.9.9.1-657-g0052fa5, many issues are crippling the gameplay:
- Sound seems to be off, when push the frame skip button they back to normal speed;
- Cutscenes won't render, many times crashes the emulator;
- can't figure out the best working settings;
- battle seems to be slower than normal;

I appreciate if someone could post a default setting from any other platform. Thank you.
current settings:

GRAPHICS
rendering:
- mode: buffered renderning;
- simulate block tranfers UNCHECKED;

framerate control
none, all off;

features:
stretch to display only;

performance:
resolution 1xPSP;
Minimapping, hardware transform, Vertex cache CHECKED;
Spline/Bezier LOW

every other option unchecked or off;

SYSTEM
emulation:
All off;

The game works fairly well when you set frameskip +2, but it seems the cutscenes will have a huge slow down when it is on.

I didn't need to set the frameskip to +2, but I'm getting freezed very offen when a battled ends.
After some research I found this configuration:

I'm on Android and I found the game worked fine with default setting + frameskip +2. Simulate block tranfers MUST BE ON if you want to see the cutscenes.

The game works well for me, but there's just one problem, the battle swirls that occur when you come in contact with an enemy do not work with "Buffered Rendering". This is fixed by selecting "Read frambuffers to memory (CPU/GPU)", but this causes another major problem; in many cutscenes the character portraits and text don't appear, there are some weird graphical glitches, and the screen isn't resized properly.


Could anyone help me out with this? Losing the battle swirls isn't a huge deal, since the game is perfect otherwise, but I'd still like to fix it if possible.

Thanks, I never even noticed that was missing. I've created a change that makes the effect work correctly in Buffered Rendering.

Is there a way to eliminate the audio stutter on the android version? I have tried all of the audio latency options, frameskip and PSP CPU Clock and nothing has worked. My phone is an Xperia Z3 Compact, i'm hoping my processor is strong enough to handle this.

Made a hackish workaround for the US version credits movie, but I tested it only with one state and might still be wrong(~it reads the pointer from different place in memory if the one replaced by movie frame fails, however I was lazy and assumed something that was too round to be an accident without checking;c), so if anyone wants to test with their save:

Activate like any other cwcheat.
Technically should work with savestates as long as they were made before crash, but lots of video stuff could work differently in the past so very old savestates might have different problems.
