I was facing the same problem, I was lacking people willing to talk in english with me, I gone to London for about three months, i still remember the first 2 days, they were pretty tough, but after that I learnt a bit. Personally speaking (being Italian) the main issue is to use the correct accent with every word (I hear a lot of common mistakes with "apple", "unable" "kingdom" etcetera).
