RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
Hello.
How Teclast X98 AIR II with Dual boot or any other tablet with Intel Atom can handle this game? Is it playable (30fps+)?

question about frames in mhp3rd ppsspp 0.9.9.1
hey guys. i was wondering. the game runs at 100% speed at 15 fps because of frameskip 1.

but, when i watched people play on youtube, i saw their gameplay was silky smooth. any settings dont affect the fps except software skinning. can i run the game silky smooth too?

my specs:

Intel® Core™ i3 CPU M 350 @2.27 GHz

RAM: 3 gb (2.86 gb usable)

System type 32 bit

Thanks in advance.

What is your GPU? I can run mhp3rd HD on this laptop at full speed with 0 frameskipping and my specs are:

Core i5 M450 2.4GHz
4GB RAM
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470

Double check that your drivers are up to date.

Afaik, you need to decrypt the game. The HD version however doesn't.

It's because you need the PAUTH files.
The proper procedure to get PAUTH files has been described by LunaMoo in the following post >> http://forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?...0#pid80260 Smile

RE: Monster Hunter Portable 3rd
I'm running into a nasty bug related to the save state in that MH 3rd , using currently 0.9.9.1 1459 g3ca212a

Often (not all the time, but often enough so you can easily run into that problem), if you save state during a hunt, PPSSPP will freeze.
I managed to understand how to enable the log as the bug was happening often enough to be reproducible fast, and here's what happens when PPSSPP is freezing :
Code:
55:58:718 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0c000010
55:58:718 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0c000040
55:58:718 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0c000020
55:58:718 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address
then it continue with a lot of different invalid address, filling more than a hundred of mb ! of that log file with this until i manullay kill PPSSPP
with the last ones
Code:
56:29:328 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0d26bd10
56:29:328 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0d26bcf0
56:29:328 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0d26bcf8
56:29:328 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0d26bd40
56:29:328 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0d26bd20
56:29:328 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0d26bd28
56:29:328 user_main    W[MM]: MemmapFunctions.cpp:93 ReadFromHardware: Invalid address 0d26bd70

Strangely the save state has actually worked, as if i relaunch PPSSPP and the game, i can load the state without a problem.
