I'm freezing a long-term software archive around end of month, and the current release of PPSSPP is still 4 KiB-aligned.
But the development builds are 16 KiB-aligned!
Is there any particular dev build from the last few months that's known to be 'particularly stable', or should I just grab the latest?
I'm worried about new features/changes that could make the latest a greater risk than some earlier one...
Any input from anybody appreciated!

Hello PPSSPP community

I'm writing because I'm having a problem (or bug) when logging into my RetroAchievement account from the PPSSPP emulator.

The emulator was installed with eMudeck and updates automatically through Bazzite's "update" function, so I'm currently on version 1.19.3.

When I try to log into my RetroAchievement account, I get an "incorrect username and password" error. This is a bug because I can log in to other emulators like PCSX2 Night, DuckStation, and RetroArch without any issues.

I tried creating a new account and logging in, but it didn't work. However, the other emulators recognized my account.

Finally, I tried exporting my user data to Bazzite from my Steam Deck (with SteamOS, also installed with eMudeck), but it didn't work either, giving error -34. However, my user data is recognized when I use it on Windows.

Is anyone else having trouble connecting their RetroAchievement account to Bazzite?

I hope you can help me.

Hello !

Im a frequent user of PPSSPP and it is a great emulator, works fantastic.

The retroachievement feature introduced in version 1.16 is really cool, however retroachievements in Origins is difficult since the flashlght broke past version 1.14, on version 1.14 it looks and renders perfectly, past that version up to 1.18.1 it is broken in all of them, leaving you with a broken rendering as only option if you want to use retroachievements for Origins.

Something that changed from 1.14 broke this game especifically, havent tested others.

Any ideas? game name SILENT HILL ORIGINS ULUS10285

Upon my testing, assets folder does not make any difference, the issue is tied to the executable of the emulator.

Havent found a workaround to this issue

i wanted to report this hoping it will get fixed in future updates
I'm also into old MH games lately and have been playing them on my ipad. The top and bottom black bars are huge and i'm using the 3:2 cwcheat patch as a quick fix. While it's great imo (more correct visuals proportion compared to fullscreen stretched display), the visuals are somewhat zoomed in. I want to see stuff behind the black bars, want to see more zoomed out visuals so i'm more aware of my character's surrounding. I think it would greatly benefit games like MH and lots of other 3D games.

So during a pre rendered fmv sequences sometimes there will be lines across the scene as a result upscaling. Now PCSX2 has a feature that turns upscaling off when an fmv plays to solve the problem, and I was wondering if PPSSPP could implement a similar feature. Maybe someone on the dev team could get in contact with the dev team of PCSX2 and ask them how they implemented it.

Another feature that would be useful is the option to disable Postprocessing shaders during fmvs in addition to switching to 1x scale, I like the why shaders make in game graphics look but they don’t do fmvs any favors.
