"h. none of the above" is above "i. all of the above," so that means if "I" is the correct answer, "A to H" are also correct answers, thus, the question, "Why 'none of the above?'"

Also, if you look at the first picture you posted, the top half indeed looks like "VIII" but the bottom half is either "ΛIII" or "IIIV," neither of which is equivalent to eight.
