I downloaded v0.8.1-325-g0eadfdc and set both "FramebuffersToMem" and "FramebuffersCPUConvert" to "True", but ppsspp crashes whenever I try to load the game. I have an Intel HD graphics card.

Please help me.

EDIT: By turning off buffered rendering, I got the game to load, but the investigation portion of the game STILL doesn't work because of the bug with selecting things.

Gah, this is right after trial 5's end and supposed accusation,
the loading bear logo spins and loads forever...and at the most interesting part of the game..!
I tried with many options disabled, even audio, but that bug still shows in log,
however you see it being. Please help, if you can and want to. Smile

I have just finished the game 1 hour ago.
It worked using the build -v0.8.1-399-gb581b73 (x64)
You must change FramebuffersToMem and FramebuffersCPUConvert from False to True.
If you play the game with the option "Beffered Rendering" off, it will run better, but every time you have to investigente or to interecte you must put the option "on", so it can "read" the points to investigate, and then "off" again (use the key F5, its fastter than going to "Options" every time you have to do this) so you can play in the best way posible.

I play in a laptop:
Windows 7 64-bit Operating Sistem
Intel Core i5-2450M Cpu 2.50Ghz
Instaled Memory (RAM) 6.00 GB
Intel HD Graphics 3000

I have found a fix for those using the android version of the emulator, although, I have only tested just beyond the first room that the main character is sleeping in. The fix is for those that are unable to investigate items in the room.

Download the latest version (usually the one closest to the top of the page) under the Android column.
After, open the .apk on your phone and install it. After the installation is done, open the app, go under settings, and make sure that Buffered Rendering is checked with the sub-category Read Framebuffers To Memory also checked.
My current Graphics Settings that are working are as follows:
Hardware Transform-Checked
Vertex Cache- Checked
Stream VBO- Unchecked
Mipmapping- Checked
Buffered Render- Checked
*Read Framebuffers To Memory- Checked
**Anti Aliasing- Checked
Anisotropic Filtering- Unchecked
Texture Filtering- Unchecked
Texture Scaling- Unchecked
(The rest of the graphics settings are optional and do not affect gameplay)

The android device that I am using is the Samsung Galaxy S4 from AT&T.

How do you get this this Flamebuffertomem/cpu type thing. I don't know where to change these to true. People say go to the file, but I need more detail on that. When I go to settings on the ppsspp itself, I don't see it in settings!

When you download a build, you install it in then ppsspp folder, then, delate de ppsspp.ini file and start the emulator with the game, then close it and a new ppsspp.ini will appear.
I think that was the way.

I know nothing about where ths threat should be, maybe im the first one in finishing it in the ppsspp xD, but i hardly think so.

The Read to Framebuffers (GPU) options offers a faster rendering method for NVIDIA cards afaik for this game (or any other games that need this option to be enabled), which is why the option is still there.

AMD, Intel and Android devices (like PowerVR and Adreno chipsets) have to use Read to Framebuffers (CPU) for proper functionality in games that need the option enabled. This is also slower than the above method, but required for non NVIDIA cards since they lack the proper support in their drivers.

The bottomline is that, if you have an NVIDIA card, you have a faster choice, that is all there is to it. If there weren't any speed benefits, the option would have indeed, been made redundant, and removed.

(Which is the case in Android builds, if you've downloaded one of those, you'll notice that the Read to Framebuffers (GPU) option has been hidden, since it serves no purpose there)

Afaik, it is completely playable from start to finish even on AMD cards with the caveat that you disable Hardware Transform before/during a certain flashback scene in Chapter 6, otherwise the game will hang and crash PPSSPP.

PPSSPP is alaways crashed everytime i tried to load the game...
what should i do..
