PPSSPP is greedy for ram usage
on Android this means you can play for max 15 minutes average, than (i think) Android close it to feed system.didn't test on Windows yet.is this normal at this stage? or there's something wrong with my device's memory management? tested on Xperia S (x2 Scorpion 1.5 ghz, Adreno 220,1 gb ram)

RE: PPSSPP is greedy for ram usage
Yes, have not really optimized the RAM usage yet and it's possible that it leaks memory. These are still early days.

Have you noticed that some particular game eats memory especially quickly?

RE: PPSSPP is greedy for ram usage
tested a few games now on both Windows and Android:

1) Ridge Racer 2 and The Third Birthday results are very good (30/35 mb after 20 minutes of gameplay)

2) Bleach Heat The Soul 7 runs ok (30/40 mb)

3) Mortal Kombat Unchained seems to indefinitely reserve memory and also very quickly (160/200 mb after less than 10 minutes)

sorry for making this sounds like a general issue, appears to be just MK

RE: PPSSPP is greedy for ram usage
Hmm. There seem to be a lot of memory leaks.

JumperTwo, would your Mortal Kombat Unchained happen to be a cso? I found a memory leak there, but how serious of one may depend on the game.

yeah, it's a .cso

anyway just tested after your memory leak fixing, MK runs ok now (43 mb after 10 minutes) much better than before, good work!
