RE: port for intel x86 android phones??
Not yet. Certainly possible to do, but I don't have an x86 android device and I don't know anyone who has one that I could borrow, so I can't test on one. I was hoping that somebody with such a device would get it working.

I'm not sure if this is compatible with the x86 phones but Henrik if you want try you can create a Virtual machine a use this http://www.android-x86.org/ for testing ppsspp on x86 platforms.
Would it be compatible?

RE: port for intel x86 android phones??
I'm also interested in ported ppsspp to x86 Android phones. I've got Motorola Razr I Xt890, which has 2GHz Intel Atom Penwell processor and this is really great phone, with top performance.

One thinks is bothering me, though, will this processor be "power enough" to emulate psp ? As one core, one thread (well there is hyperthreading, but still) clocked at 2 GHz it's quite powerful - even compared to top arm devices, but the difference is architecture - x86 vs ARM.

PSP main processor has MIPS architecture, so there both are RISC processor vs x86 Atom which is CISC, so i'm curius if emulation will be slower on x86 based processors ?

ps. Henrik, I'm quite busy right now, but if you will be looking for help with hardware tests, I'm available in april, and I'll be happy to help.

RE: port for intel x86 android phones??
It will likely be faster than most ARM phones, but we'll see...

RE: port for intel x86 android phones??
I just added x86 support. No idea if it actually works or if it will just crash and burn, I haven't tried it yet as I have no x86 android devices and too lazy to set up a VM Smile
