linux and music
hi there and thx to everyone supporting this programm.

i just installed it (kubuntu 12.04), it works great but i have no sound at all (tried different games).
i found some hints thx to google. so i downloaded the libMaiAT3PlusDecoder script (from karen angelxwind) and "maked" it. i got the library but strangely not as noted with an "so" after the dot at the end but just an "a". and this one neither works in the lib folder nor in the folder where ppssppsdl is located. i tried to rename it but this also doesnt work.
any idea where to start?

thx in advance! :-)
frank

RE: linux and music
Wich PPSSPP version do you use? Did you try the most recent (v0.9.6)? This version already support Atrac3+ without plugin (at least on Windows and Android, I don't know on Linux).

Download the last one here: http://ppsspp.org/downloads.html

Phones: Poco F3 8GB/256GB (Snapdragon 870 5G) and Redmi Note 6 Pro 4/64GB (Snapdragon 636)

PC: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / 16GB RAM DDR4 3600MHz / NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti 6GB / Windows 10 Pro

it's 0.9.6-20-something.

RE: linux and music
Do you use ALSA or pulse? I can't remember which one PPSSPP doesn't like currently, but it's one or the other, or at least I seem to remember seeing that one of them was a problem recently on the issue tracker..

very good question! :-)
in my phonon controll board it says gstreamer? sorry, i am not that deep (anymore) into linux...
i am using kubuntu 12.04, so maybe we have a problem here.
but it's time for a new laptop anyway, so maybe the problem will be solved then by itself ;-)

but thx for your help!
