RE: [AdHoc] Compatibility List
@AdamN ah ok, thanks for clearing that:3.

BTW you're fast. Apparently 0.9.9 will be even biger update than was planned few days ago.^^ Funny thing buildbot died again, just like in previous release attempt.

PTP = Sonys warped version of TCP, exactly the same, just that it uses Mac Addresses instead of IP Addresses.
but many games seems to choose using UDP-like (called PDP) for adhoc, probably because it's faster, but i'm sure for online play (infrastructure) they will choose TCP-like (called PTP) except for chatting message which usually use UDP-like (even on PC games)

PS: i'm done implementing the GetPeerInfo which seems to be needed for Kingdom Hearts based on the report in previous page (i haven't tested it though since i don't have the game), but i'll commit it later along with MatchingXXX implementation
I have a good question, It's possible inject cheatcode (or file modify) for modify IP server on Infra ? Exemple for Medal of Honor Heroes™ (1 or 2) with 32 players on one server Smile Adhoc is limited 8 It's not funny.

ColdBird have make a server private ".hack//Frägment" for PS2, I think It's possible too for PSP.
I don't know, for now i'm trying to maintain it's compatibility with a real PSP

Only if you found a game that was working properly before but now broken,
for games that uses AdhocMatching functions it's expected not to work at the moment because most of the functions aren't implemented yet.
Btw, if you wanted to get the Debug log make sure you choose Debug Level and only enable sceNet channel (from Develop Tools menu) otherwise the log console will be flooded with non-related logs

RE: [AdHoc] Compatibility List
Can anyone confirm that Itadaki Street Portable doesn't work? I've tried it through tunggle/evolve and on my own personal network and cannot get it to find eachothers games! Just wondering if anyone has done it so I can confirm its not the game.

Thanks

games that can't see each other have 3 possibilities,
either it's using an unimplemented adhoc functions, or the port is already used by a different program, or the port is blocked by firewall (either it's firewall in the computer, router, or ISP)

what kind of pop up?
can you provide the screenshot? and whats it suppose to show?

PS: currently most of the AdhocMatching functions needed by most games are done, just need to send and receive data for host and join to communicate each other

Noice, sounds promising Smile (although host guest communications isn't the easiest part to implement)
