0.9.6 games question

Hey guys, new here so if this is in the wrong section i appologize now.

Anyways, i'm running ppsspp 0.9.6 on my ipad mini 2 and since i updated to 9.6 from 9.5 games seem to crash on me, for example - soul caliber, tekken 6, manhunt 2, tekken 5 etc.. basically what happens in tekken for example is it gets to the menu, selects characters and as soon as the game is about to start it crashes to home screen. 9/10 games seem to do this so im wondering if this is a problem with the latest update or is it just alot of games don't work yet?
What games do you use that do work on this version?

Hi since the update maybe from 9.6 210 or up in mine assassins creed bloodline zoom in and I can see only the leg of the character but I also have the older version which 9.6 77 the game in the older version works great for me and on my iPad mini one .... Thx
