Unless you need to play this on a mobile device, I strongly recommend to play SOTN on ePSXe as it has software rendering with HQ filters, which means no artifacts when applying the filters and an over-scanning hack. The only reason I would want to play this version is to experiment with the "new" Maria char...

Am I the only one whose game freezes when he goes into buss rush while the music suddenly starts playing really fast? I have ULUS10277

Everything else in the regular DRACX chronicles seems to work though. Haven't tried original rondo or sotn though

As I posted a few pages ago. You need to turn on WLAN and then use a ProAdhoc server.

Ok I'll try that. Also the boss demo's still come unsynced and they get totally messed up

EDIT: Thanks! Works great now! Smile

For me the Saturn version of Maria is way better than the PSP version. By Maria save file you mean that she is unlocked after clearing SOTN once?
If that is the case here you go. Maria and Richter are unlocked here.

RE: Castlevania dracula X ULKS46155
Just started gaming Castlevania on this awesome emulator. When reading this thread, I noticed that a lot of you play the game on 60fps, and that the option to do so is largely the reason why you play it on the emulate the game rather than play it in PSP.

My question is: how in the world do you play it in 60 fps? The game seemingly has an internal 30 fps cap, and from what i gather from this thread: forums.ppsspp.org/showthread.php?tid=4799 hacking a particular game to perform 60 fps internally is a tremendously difficult process. Are some you actually referring to your speed rather than internal fps, or has someone managed to hack it? Or is it just some simple option to check that I missed?

Playing on PC for now. Would love a reply Smile

Also, any ideas on what the best setup is to make the game really pop, graphically?

I dont have a wireless connection on my desktop. Is there anyway to fool Windows into thinking there is wireless hardware when there isnt? Or perhaps is it known whether there will be a fix so it will no longer be necessary to setup an ahhoc server to do boss rush mode in the next release of PPSSPP? Thanks for the info.

RE: Castlevania dracula X ULKS46155
You don't need wireless hardware on your PC to run adhoc stuff in PPSSPP. It's simply an option which emulates the PSP's wireless hardware to a limited degree. You basically turn it on, run the adhoc server, and make sure your PPSSPP.ini is set to connect to localhost or 127.0.0.1 so it connects to only your PC. After that, boss rush mode should work.

Currently, this method is the only way boss rush mode will work, so no, there's no fix forseeable in the future currently, since the guys who worked on the adhoc stuff are missing/taking a break. Perhaps some kind dev will pick it up in the future.

I don't think you understood me properly. My computer handles the game just fine (speed wise). What I'm wondering is how some people are playing it in 60 FPS when the game is internally locked at 30 FPS?[b]
