RE: Castlevania dracula X
Oh wow, the game doesn't even boot? Is it a game specific issue or a method that hasn't really been implemented for the emulator?

I'm leaning towards the latter, though I'm not actually sure. Say Marcelo, how DID Jpcsp handle this games issues during development?

RE: Castlevania dracula X
As of the latest revision v0.7.6-1027-gaa2781a, the game now plays the intro video (and possibly the ending one) although with heavy stuttering. Thanks you very much dev team!
Now if Henrik can fix the save freezing bug this game will be totally playable!

@Hiruko: I don't remember very well about the cutscenes dialogues but it was something to do about a timing issue. The save system problem was fixed with a hack patch.

Marcelo, this is just a hunch, but try revision v0.7.6-1071-gd737e60, and see whether the game hangs or not at the intro video?

(I'm beginning to see a pattern here.)

RE: Castlevania dracula X
A friend tested the ULKS version using the latest build(1107) and it still hangs after the Konami logo. Another interesting thing to note is that when using the Infinite Life and Infinite Hearts cheats you can not continue unless they are disabled. If i remember correctly Jpcsp had this function called clear list which cleared/disabled the cheats.

The game hangs at loading screen in Original game: Symphony of Night. The game is too broken and is partly playable. Too bad!

RE: Castlevania dracula X
Castlevania dracula X is playable with media engine OFF, media engine ON will make it hangs after the Konami logo.

Megaman Maverick Hunter X is also playable with media engine OFF, media engine ON will make it hangs after the "accessing" appear, before the title menu.

RE: Castlevania dracula X
I want to facepalm so hard at this kind of posts pointing out the obvious that has been said lots of times already, it's getting annoying over the time, no offense.
But oh well, forums are always like that... If you press start before the vidreo loads there's no need to disable media engine, moreover, that was fixed lately then got messed up then got fixed again, did it get messed up once more?

-Samsung galaxy S3 International version - Android 4.4.2
-Dual Core locked CPU, Clocked at 1Ghz-1.8Ghz
-Mali 400MP4 GPU Clocked from 160Mhz to 533Mhz
-1GB ram, boo..

Gotta be patient with these folk, kenny43. Quite a number are new folk just entering, posting and leaving afterwards. Most probably missed the loads of posts already stating the obvious.

Yeah indeed, that's why most of the time I preffer to just stay quiet instead of repeating the overly said "this is a known problem please read the whole thread and reffer to bla bla bla" <_<

But, Symphony of Night in Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles doesn't work even with Media Engine off. It just hangs on loading screen.

As they say: "Patience is a virtue". I am sure that you and everybody else will be able to play the Original games in Castlevania Dracula X in the future.

RE: Castlevania dracula X
Text is broken too just like this game! I've read somewhere that it has something to do with ATI drivers. I'm using ATI X800. Are Nvidia users able to see the text flawlessly?
