The attachment is my graphic setting in ppsspp.
  • game: wwe svr 2006 - US (ulus10050)
  • type: iso
  • os: windows 7 ultimate 64bit
  • ppsspp ver: 1.01

And here's my basic computer spec (i'm using laptop):
  • processor: amd athlon ii p320 dual core 2.1ghz
  • ram: 3gb
  • vga: ati mobility radeon hd 4200, 256mb
  • res.max: 1366x768
I'm also installed the latest vc++runtime.

Everything, seems playable or at least enjoyable, except that crash.

The crash happen randomly when i start the match,
it randomly crash, sometimes when the entrance scene,
sometimes when the match begin in less than a minute, it crash...
sometimes it survive almost 5 minutes match, but it crash later.
I also try with ppsspp v0.9.9.1, but i got black screen, unplayable.
I try with v1.0, same problem with 1.01
this crash problem also happen at wwe svr 2007

Meanwhile wwe svr2011 here is run without problem.

Is it because my low spec comp.? or maybe something need to be installed?

Sorry if I'm mistaken. This is my first post. Thanks Big Grin

Update: it works...
i just need to uncheck the "multithreaded" option...

RE: WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw 2006
Can something be done for all the flickering in svr2006 ?

The only way to completely get rid of the flickering is to :
- set to Non-Buffered rendering
- disable Auto-frameskip (should be when set to Non-buffered)
- disable frameskip entirely (set it to OFF)
- disable "Prevent FPS from exceeding 60 (speeds up GOW)"

While with these settings the game is fantastically playable and fast this way (and you don't have any eye-killing flickering anymore)
- it disable the crowd (major source of the flickering) , lessening a bit the atmosphere
- and more importantly it turns the special visual effect that happens when you do a finisher into a black screen for +/- 2 seconds before it goes back to normal, hidding then most of the finisher animation.

It's sad that PPSSPP has such problem with SVR2006 considering it's the best wrestling on the PSP system, as it has a much better AI and much better gameplay than any further SVR on PSP.

RE: WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw 2006
I don't know if some recent change helped, but i found that in 1.0.1-830-gc671b07

Instead of
Quote:- set to Non-Buffered rendering
- disable Auto-frameskip (should be when set to Non-buffered)
- disable frameskip entirely (set it to OFF)
- disable "Prevent FPS from exceeding 60 (speeds up GOW)"

You can do with
Quote:- set to Buffered rendering
- disable Auto-frameskip (should be when set to Non-buffered)
- disable frameskip entirely (set it to OFF)
- disable "Prevent FPS from exceeding 60 (speeds up GOW)"
- enable "Disable Slower Effect (speedup)"

And you have the crowd, without any flickering and the special effect with the slow motion when you use a powerful finisher does not lead into black screen anymore.

Though at the end of completing one of the season scenario, just after the final cutscene, i got a crash, looking at the console i saw this :

Tried to reproduce but it didn't crashed again.

RE: WWE Smackdown! vs. Raw 2006
For people that have the european version of SVR 2006.

There was a good saved game that had a lots of legends CAWS for the PS2 version of SVR06 that were very well done from what you could see from the screenshot :
http://z10.invisionfree.com/SvR06_CAWs/i...owtopic=90

The PS2 save had been converted for the PSP version of SVR 06 (european) as PSP SVR 2006 had connectivity with the PS2 version so you could transfer caws here :
http://caws.ws/svr2006/view/saves/all_legends_save-35

Unfortunately with time the save had been probably lost, as you can see the download leads nowhere anymore but a friend of mine had it, so i attach it to this post for those interested.

It's sad that the devs of SVR06 botched a bit their CAWS code, as if you use a CAWS on PSP, the loading time increase.
Fortunately thanks to PPSSPP, you can press TAB during a loading to make them faster.

To install, just download the 12march2016svr06.7z archive , open it with 7zip and move the ULES002270000 folder that is in it into your
..\ppsspp\memstick\PSP\SAVEDATA\
folder
